Eh pass. Must not be that great, there's not even a mommy creampie shown in the previews. Also a waste of AI. If one is going to go that route at least make it photorealistic, rather than simply as a lazy way to avoid actually drawing/rendering shit.

Part of me regrets not spending more time on this, but this short story was really my first attempt at fully fledged gamedev. I think I needed to prove to myself that I can make SOMETHING and put it out for the world to see and judge. So "Taboo" is short and sweet, with linear story and simple 3 act structure. But going forward, I can guarantee that I want to make something way more substantial. So... stay tuned?(づ ◕‿◕ )づ

There is a mommy creampie in the game tho ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) . About the style, I specifically didn't want to make it photorealistic, for the reasons really. First (and this is probably going to sound hella hypocritic) I didn't want the graphics to have that "misty" feeling that the images sometimes have when using photorealistic models. Second, I edit and redraw a lot of stuff for the purpose of consistency and sticking to the vision i had for the game, and I don't see myself doing that on photorealistic images. Skill issue on my side . And not going to lie, I'm a huge fan of Summertime Saga, Warlock and Boobs and other "cartoony" games, they are doing something for me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

Patreon bans stepcest too (there's no difference to them), prob best to not use them at all rather than making it stepcest anyway even if Patreon did allow it since that tends to just annoy/alienate most incest fans that don't consider non-blood-relatives incest. Most devs these days just avoid anything approaching it to be safe or go to some other platform like SS or Unifans that still doesn't care, as now Itch counts just a bunch of people living in the same house as incest if any of them fuck (yeah, it's totally retarded). So this is probably on borrowed time on those 2 sites. Really though from the comments so far it seems to most having Patron ban AI would be the wet dream for them even though that genie has long left the bottle and isn't going back.

Long as the son/daughter is over 18, it's technically not illegal, hence why it's always step-sibling. Obviously sexing an underage person is illegal... but in the context of incest, well, it's the incest that is illegal and situational relationships ultimately have nothing to do with actual incest.

In other words, just because the girl you're banging calls you 'daddy' once does not mean the FBI will throw sixteen flashbangs into your bedroom, shoot your dog, and take turns drop kicking you for incest.

Gonna be a real hot take here but, AI is better than the heavily over saturated 3DCG. There are more 3DCG games on this site than anything else and a lot of them use models that make all the girls in the game look exactly the same. It's unfortunate too because I am certain there are good 3DCG style games that have lots of effort and unique style, however trying to find them at the moment feels akin to a needle in a haystack situation. At least with AI art the devs are able to put more focus onto the story and make the build-up and the environment feel immersive in a sense. I'm not saying there aren't bad AI CG games either I have tried quite a few that I have then deleted 5mins later. I think that ultimately the problem is how much effort is put into the creation process more than what art style is chosen. rant over sorry.
