I completely agree with you that using AI for graphics can sometimes feel lazy or in bad taste. The truth is, my options were pretty limited when it came to hardware, free time, and money. I did the best I could with what I had, and I'm proud of the effort I put into this project. I did edit or redraw details on most, if not all, of the images I used. It was a learning experience, and I'm always looking to improve.

Counter-Point: I see Gen-AI, that instantly torpedoes any benefit of the doubt. Oh, you put in "work" and are "proud"? Well, from outside, I have zero reason to believe you even wrote any of the script. Once you employ the magical plagiarism black box that seemingly only exists to enable copyright theft on an incomprehensible scale (e.g. if you couldn't ask it for free to make images of Garfield with tits or Pikachu stealing a car, literally nobody outside of computer researchers would give a shit), I cannot trust you when you try to claim ownership of anything. Much like getting caught plagiarizing your thesis paper in college, the only course of action is to kick them out of the program because now all of their work is suspect. It doesn't matter if they 'only' plagiarized their source page, it doesn't matter how much they pinkie-promise that they did in fact do all of their own homework; the only safe option is a scorched earth policy. Nobody wants to see doctors who had Chat-GPT do all of their class work.

Likewise applies here; nobody has any reason to take you at your word for literally anything, and they have every reason to doubt it. Using Gen-AI in something you're selling just indicates that you are more interested in making money than growing as an artist. Can't draw? The honest thing would be to do a text adventure, or be brave enough to include your own 'bad' art. Using Gen-AI is a cop out. Why should anybody be paying you for content they have zero way of verifying you had any hand in making? If there was any content that you are 1,000% morally, ethically, and legally clear to pirate, it is Gen-AI.

Long as the son/daughter is over 18, it's technically not illegal, hence why it's always step-sibling. Obviously sexing an underage person is illegal... but in the context of incest, well, it's the incest that is illegal and situational relationships ultimately have nothing to do with actual incest.

Eh pass. Must not be that great, there's not even a mommy creampie shown in the previews. Also a waste of AI. If one is going to go that route at least make it photorealistic, rather than simply as a lazy way to avoid actually drawing/rendering shit.

Like everything else it depends on location. In some places 14 is legal, in Ohio 16 is legal with no age difference consideration and blood siblings can legally fuck, some countries simply have no laws pertaining to incest (NJ as well, until a few public F-D cases and public outrage made them add it), etc. But that's the real world, in AVNs it matters far far less what cartoons are doing, at least in the US where cartoons do NOT even need to be 18, that's just requirements for some sites' TOS to get around censorship and groups that should be ignored like Collective Karen. For AVNs and other art really there the only grey area is under 18 AND photorealistic AI as that hasn't been tested in court yet, and there are sites that are willing to roll those dice if you Google hard enough. As far as real blood-related incest, even that is legal in half the world and Sweden even allows half-siblings to marry if they want. AVN incest (including piss-poor substitute stepcest like in this AVN)= pretty much legal everywhere where porn is allowed, the problem is just bullshit censorship from payment processors, but if you want to make it for free or only take crypto payments there won't be a swat team knocking down your door as you said.

Gonna be a real hot take here but, AI is better than the heavily over saturated 3DCG. There are more 3DCG games on this site than anything else and a lot of them use models that make all the girls in the game look exactly the same. It's unfortunate too because I am certain there are good 3DCG style games that have lots of effort and unique style, however trying to find them at the moment feels akin to a needle in a haystack situation. At least with AI art the devs are able to put more focus onto the story and make the build-up and the environment feel immersive in a sense. I'm not saying there aren't bad AI CG games either I have tried quite a few that I have then deleted 5mins later. I think that ultimately the problem is how much effort is put into the creation process more than what art style is chosen. rant over sorry.

I'm all for AI, when it is useful. AI that still looks like cartoons = nope. But I get what you're saying for 3D. That problem arises due to devs ether lacking the skill or time to make their own models, so often use cheap ones in the Daz store, by which point they are rather old and 50 other devs have already used them in their AVNs. A good example is Victoria aka Jill in Being A DIK, Libby in Limitless, Sephora in Game of Inches, etc. That girl gets around. Morphs help somewhat, but do that too much and you end up with something unique to be sure, but then also nightmare fuel.
