Dude's making Bank! (over 25k/m) and still hasn't updated for almost a year. 
someone on discord said that according to the new post on subscribestar there is a release date- at the end of January and they are working on a translation, but ZUBiDAM can not independently verify these claims

the people who use the subscribers as a way to bitch about lengthy time between updates almost always don't care about the subscribers. They are using the pretext to bitch that they can't play new content fast enough for themselves to stroke their dick.
It's a false pretense for their own sense of entitlement. 90-99% of us here take games without compensating and have no problem screwing someone over so that we can play without paying.
It's hypocrisy that is indefensible.

Hello friends!
Apologies for the long absence. I understand that everyone is eagerly waiting for the release itself, not just another teaser or a string of updates. I have two pieces of news for you, both of which I hope you’ll find pleasant:
1. We’ve set the release date on Steam for January 2025, and we’re entering the final stretch - whatever that may entail. Initially, we planned to launch in December, but Steam still needs to fully review the product, and we’re working hard to polish the game and trying to make it shine.
2. We haven’t talked about this much because we weren’t sure about the outcome (and we’re still not entirely sure), but we’ve been actively working on translating the game (No, this doesn’t affect the release speed or the main development process – it’s a parallel effort.).
We have a massive amount of text, and it’s been quite challenging to get quality feedback on the translations. Because of this, we’ll likely be distributing keys to testers from various language groups. I won’t go into details about the languages we plan to support just yet, and here’s why:
2.1. We’re still not certain how much we’ll manage to accomplish, though our plans are ambitious. The primary languages will likely be added gradually through patches post-launch.
2.2. We want to avoid any disputes or frustration if your preferred language isn’t included right away. We’re doing our best, and our choices are based on the main language groups of our player base on Steam.
2.3. This is new territory for us, and years of development have taught us that every single aspect of game creation has its own hidden challenges. You’ve rightly called us out on this many times, and we’re learning from our mistakes.
Thank you for your patience and support - we’ll keep pushing forward!

It's true that it wouldn't make sense if the update had taken let's see 4 to 7 months, even 10 but damn 12 months is long and especially for an update with hopefully the most uncontained possible
