Seriously he wonder why steam took their page down, violence wasnt the factor, its due to excessive use of AI
No, it wasn't AI.
Steam doesn't give a shit about AI images.created and then out in the games by the developers (as long as they are legal). They don't allow AI image creation by the players dynamically within the games.

Huge difference.

Also, no one with any air of legitimacy said Steam rejected due to violence. Steam rejected due to "gray area" school setting with ambiguously designed characters that could give a greater impression of a high school setting with minors instead of a college/university setting with young adults.

We're told Patreon booted Uberpie and included the reason of (sexual) violence for its actions.
Well, other game developers here don't like the new direction with AI, most of us don't like it, and somehow our opinion makes us brain-dead NPCs I guess. Apparently, having a different opinion makes us stupid.
Some don't. Some do. There is no prevalent opinion. You can speak for yourself and whatever case of close associates you have (if they agree with you)... But you are using your personal bias to give false support for your points.

I don't have a dog in the AI race, but I'm not going to use false narratives and misstatements in my rhetoric regarding it.
I'm sure the person on Steam banned this shit not because of the content, but because he saw the AMOUNT of content in previous build and compared it to this crap.
No. Steam accepts games with no "new" content all the time. This is your personal bias used in hyperbole, and is not grounded in the reason why Steam rejected it.

Those who compare ai-generated art with 'just another tools' either cynically lie, or have never drawn a shit in their life.
Again, I'm not on any side of the AI argument... But you do realize they are teaching how to use AI as a tool responsibly and creatively in artistic work at CalArts, RISD, MCAD, and other top art schools around the world.
The author is using AI, un-fucking belivable. WHY!? And I almost bought this on steam?!!!

Well, it's good Steam rejected it then, huh?

And where have you been? Uberpie has been using AI trained on his art for the past 18+ months. His lack of attention to detail and abysmal quality assurance has always been two of some of his worst weaknesses.

So he was thouse grozeks team? I dont remember it ever proven.
dude, it's the same art in the beginning, plus Mary and Tiffany almost the same models as in Hypno Slave.

Really??? Wow, I didn't know that (sarcasm). I don't care about the reason Steam banned them. All i know that they did it absolutely right and I'm fully support the decision whatever the reason behind it. Such developers shouldn't own the right to sell such garbage. Or at least until they will be forced to provide full roadmap and strictly follow the schedule.

Most of the dislike with AI games now is simply their lack of good animation. Compared to well animated models it's just lackluster. This will start changing quickly with the release of Hunyuan Video though. I'd guess we'll start seeing a glut of AI games with clever use of short AI porn clips soon.

I'm a graphic designer and I graduated from such a school, You are 100% true, but the key word here is '' responsibly '' and '' creatively ''. If I make a Logo, I'm expected to charge it around 300, to 1000 euros because I put time in it, effort, artistic knowledge, creative knowledge, etc. Sometimes I will work something from scratch, and sometimes I will use AI to get some samples for the idea I have and work on top of them. My clients don't want a machine to make something in 1 second and me charging them 300, to 1000 euros for that. As a comparison, some people are willing to pay for AI generated porn and some don't. Uber's AI is not worth paying him because he doesn't even bother to work on top of it, in my humble opinion, considering he had an art style that could rival the best of them.

Ai can't even keep drawing certain character in certain way.

I have quite a few years of design - theatrical and graphic - under my belt, too.

I am in agreement with nearly your entire post about expectations and the use of AI as a tool.

I also agree with your assessment of Uberpie's work ethic and lack of followup.

While his art was enjoyable, you should be aware that he had quite a few scenes in the early versions to have been digitally traced from other artists work with only slight modifications. Also, since you are an artist, you cannot deny his difficulty in remaining on model by hand. And so that is where I part ways with your comment. That's all.
I dont care about AI but is the story somewhat better? Would replay it.
dunno, but on the day S1 Redux was planned to be released, the head writer left the dev team to choose "to be happy."

Still, I hope you realize the difference between ai-generated art and using ai to help the artist in creating their art. I do. I use it do some job faster, but as long as I can draw or paint it myself, I can always fix whatever is wrong. Four fingers at the feet are not about using it as "just a tool".

I agree and have commented many times on Uberpie's laziness with not being more attentive using AI, as well as his lack of revision and cleanup.
