Do we can set better the mom/sis relationship? Or is always the same thing, i put Mom and Sis/Sister as a name and it's supposed to work but it doesn't actually work that well? Yet I see that the game is on subscribestar, so I don't understand why until today, it has had these problems...

On Steam, it says it is planned for the 28th of January. Amazing what one can learn by either following links in OP or searching the thread.

1) George Orwell's book is 1984, and is about government totalitarianism, government infiltration of the privacy of people, and government restrictions and homogenization.

It's gotta be more than just season 1 of the old version otherwise they must have replaced all the art with 4k versions cause the entire original S1-4 is just a bit shy of a gig while the S1 redux is pushing 1.5 gigs.

I don't mind that he's revamped some of the formatting cause the old game was, well, old, for sure. I have a history with this game professionaly, but you wouldn't know it because it seems UberPie felt the need to remove my "Special Thanks" section for this update, after working on his game pro bono back in the summer of 18'. Ah well, we all move on!

No. It's named Season 1 Redux for a reason. It's just "Season 1."

Don't go by size. Heck, v0.01 "Family Tales" was 700mb unzipped.

I even posted here #35,676 what content from the previous versions (before there was this whole idea of a "Season" thing in 2023) this Season 1 Redux covers. The majority of the story line covers up through v0.9.2. With a few Mary scenes beyond that, and the Jennifer glory hole scene as a dream sequence... as well as most of Sara's content up through v0.9.2 removed to balance that out the scenes added to the content.

What does that mean? Season 1 Redux is primarily the first year's releases of the game (Mar 2018 - Feb 2019) --

Oh I can believe it's just season 1 but my point was you don't massively reduce content and get a 50% increase in size unless you've done something to the game assets. It also wouldn't be the first time a dev went and changed their versioning nomenclature especially when doing a redo. If you've checked it though that's another story.

Right. I understand now what you are saying. The way I read your prior post with the first sentence beginning with the wondering if it is more than one season, I thought that was the thrust of your argument. Sorry.

As for what I now see what you are stating - yes, there's been an increase in number and resolution of the images:
Appr. 2200 images in v0.89.8 (Seasons 1-4)
Appr. 2700 images in S1 Redux (strictly Season 1)

The above image count shows us where AI has advantages - it allows developers to add a lot more images within a shorter time. That said, there hasn't been a similar increase in the lewd scenes as a result, but more images throughout - lewd and not lewd. Also, a lot of images in both versions are locations, background characters, and other composition layers that can be used across many versions.

Of the images Uberpie considers important enough to be included in the CG Gallery:
1519 images in v0.89.8 (Seasons 1-4)
352 images in S1 Redux (strictly Season 1)
That proportion pretty much checks out with 352 being slightly less than 1/4th of 1519.

And yes, the images in S1 Redux appear to be created for 4K resolution.

Oh, come on now, don't get all huffy because people keep asking what's in the Season 1 Redux. Not everyone knows what "Redux" even means, and honestly, folks are just desperately clinging to the hope that maybe, just maybe, it's not a reheated serving of the same old stew. So naturally, they'll keep asking, fingers crossed that the answer might someday be anything other than "READ! IT'S CALLED SEASON ONE, NOT SEASON ONE TO FIVE!"

And if we're pointing fingers here, it’s not really about people's relentless questioning, is it? It's more a testament to the Uberpie team's stellar communication skills, or lack thereof. As one user brilliantly noted, this mystery surrounding the Redux could have been avoided with a sprinkle of transparency. After all, a good chunk of the so-called "freeloading public" used to be loyal supporters who felt the cold stab of betrayal and wandered off, only to haunt the sidelines like the ghost of patrons past. They're peering over the fence, wondering if the grass will ever be as lush and green as it once was, ready to dive back into the support pool if the stars ever align again.

Maybe, just maybe, if the Uberpie team had taken a more 'warm and fuzzy' approach to their loyal base, we'd be eagerly awaiting Season 5 by now instead of slogging through the "Season One, Not Season One to Five Redux." But hey, hindsight is always 20/20, right?

The problem with redux is that it became an eye opener for everyone...Finally...

The fans on this thread actually started to think for themselves, instead of rage typing.

Second problem. Redux perfectly outlines all the flaws of the previous "versions". It all just took too damn long. On top of that UberPie wasted too much time on third, fourth, fifth set characters...Eight years later still no Brinda sex scene...
Remember how Peter had to go traverse through Takeshi's Castle for several "seasons" just to score Clara, Becca, Sara and Mary. I even forgot Jessica. Then out of nowhere came two scenes for Mia and Natalie, two characters from the fifth dimension nobody cared for. Don't forget all the stuff about Priscilla and still we didn't get to score her.

Instead we got several blowjob scenes from Danny...After five seasons, yet no scenes for Brinda, Stacy, Tiffany. Instead we kept raping Mary...

Remember all the nonsensical reading we had to chew through...

And here we are. One sentence and we get a blowjob from who? Casey?

What I really think is that some at Steam actually played ALL the previous versions...That's it...

Honestly, I wish the dev all the best. I just don't care anymore.
