I noticed, that many peoples very like the art of Taffy Tales, but a lot of them are disappointed about EXISTING storyline.
I read many comments about amazing art style and very poor story.
I am doing everything to increase the frequency of updates.
I have already found the amazing writer - lostraven.
Now I have everything to create a game, which I want.
A lot of sexy scenes will be added in the future updates with many characters. It is only matter of time.
But I am really confused about your reviews about EXISTING storyline.
Is that really so bad? What is the point of your "1/10" rate for the story of Taffy Tales?

The 1/10 is not fair to be honest when you just factor in how this is a porn game first and foremost and quality of the h-content should always come priority rather than story and lol at the people hating on it just because the MC is a wimp when you factor in how the absolute majority of MC in games on this site are wimps/rapists. Heck the main character of one of the most popular games here in f95 DMD is technically a pedophile

It's pretty bad to be perfectly honest.
I didn't review or rate the game yet, but if I had to judge the story development so far it wouldn't be pretty.

First, the protagonist is hard to tolerate.
It feels like you took the typical socially awkward "loser" character from countless other games, put him on steroids and then supercharged the result. He gets bullied from all sides and run over by a car before you're even out of the intro and his internal monologues make it almost impossible to identify with him in.
In fact he basically stays hopeless throughout the entire game so far. It's not him taking charge later on, it's that demon inside him and he doesn't go along either, he whines and complains and fails to fight his inner voice at every step.
There is no agenda on the player's part, you can love or hate what happens to the character or what his inner demon makes him do but you have no choice in the matter.

Next, the black bully.
The less said the better I guess. He's written in a way that makes a possible "friendship" path laughable. There's no redeeming quality, nothing, just a cluster of the worst traits imaginable. I can't even bring myself to hate the guy because he's way too over the top to be taken seriously. You may also want to be careful about him molesting and banging girls in front of the MC because that kind of NTR can destroy potential love interests or even the entire game for some players.

Lastly, the other victims.
Whereas other games with socially awkward MCs offer the player natural allies that also aren't part of the popular crowd, there's not much of that here. You witness the feminine kid and his mom getting bullied quite a bit, only to take advantage of them yourself later on. Maybe you should make it obvious earlier that the mom is into pain and humiliation because I find it difficult to enjoy the MC abusing a character I feel sorry for.

In conclusion, it feels like you took a lot of the characters and story ingredients from Summertime Saga and dialed them all up to eleven... and not in a good way.
The artwork is outstanding, nobody is disputing that, but the storyline makes it really, really hard for me to actually enjoy the visuals. Maybe tone down the extremes a bit, make the player's progression from super victim to merciless rapist a bit more natural and allow the player to not be either a complete wimp or a complete asshole in every situation.

All this is just my opinion of course, best of luck with the development.

This pretty much covers my issues with the story. Don't get me wrong, I've got issues with the game because I care and want to see it succeed. I think it has huge potential.
Every character in this game is either a total whimp or a total asshole. One thing that really left a bad impression was the sister's events. The scene with the black guy on the trackfield. The was she behaved considering she has a thing for the mc from what I gather on latter interactions is what I fail to understand. Why was it there? Just to appeal to the cuck crowd? That's fine, but why do it as a must-do event, so out of place, even though you've said that the ntr stuff will be skipable.

Urgh I was hoping that wasn't what it was going to be. I personally absolutely despise Darnell as both a character and as a trope, so two of the paths are going to be absolute boner killers for me I guess. Unless he doesn't actually take part in the scenes, but that seems unlikely.

Personally I'm a advocate for "Beasty" but Uber does realize how Nazi Patreon is about that kind of content right? If not I hope you stress to him to never openly talk about it on his Patreon. If hes does that it should be ok.

Best thing would be to patch it in after updates.

This kid definitely needs to be a stud eventually. Start working out and kicking ass. Roids route maybe lol

I intend to try make the character (and the trope he represents) a more well rounded character in that route, you'll find a few things out that'll probably make you hate him a little less, so he won't just be 'the black bully.'

I can't really see me ever seeing him as anything other then what I already see him as, regardless of what tragic past you might add. The way the story is currently set up, aka being thrown into a world of the characters already being corrupted instead of you choosing for it to happen, makes it incredibly hard to like him.

His backstory once explained will just be to help ease in the neutral friendship route for players who want that playthrough, Whether you still utterly despise the character or not, there will always still be a route to wipe the floor with him. So if that's your preference that'll be the route for you

For me the Story 4/10 cause i know what kinda of story but the fact that the game has very little story and it gets confusing (It feels like the story didnt have a start, u went straight to the middle), and i think the game should have sex animated cutcenes cause only a 1 or 2 images of a sex scene seems a little lay, u can even use the way u show us the characters talking to make a sex scene, but this is something u can work in the future.

The hand drawn artstyle does not really work with animated cutscenes. I feel the art and its usage is probably the best thing about the game imho. Although the pose is the same, there is different facial expressions during the cutscene etc... there is not much more you can demand from it.

Agree. It is not 10/10, but I actually like it as it is as well. Different people like different characters I guess. I like how the story leaves something to your imagination. Like your sister on the trackfield or under the table at the principal's office. The MC may be a bit wimpy, but at least he is different. I started to dislike the typical MC you get in most other games here, they just feel so bland. Some people just insecure about not playing the greatest alpha male ever (he is getting there though lol)

Hi UberPie, I personally really like the story, art also it goes without saying. As for peole who dislike some stuff of the game. It is about taste of sexual nature and imaginatation. You make a game with a lot of kinks which is perfectly fine, but some people may not like a part of them. Actually the game is a a game because there you can express what you like and what you wish your viewers/supporters to experience. This is how it should be. As for a real feel of a woman and real life experinces people should reach out to girl in the real world if that is what they like to get. I also agree with the other guys that focusing on one or few characters is better, but this is ultimately your choice. Keep up your great work!!

hi UberPie, i really like ur game and the story but i think that if the MC start to agree to his other self and leave thinking about how to get his way with everything to that other self instead of debating each other would be better for next update anyway.
