No. The galleries are separate. v0.89.8 (Seasons 1-4) and v0.95.7 (Season 5) are two different standalones.

Officially, there is no M&S content in this. This is a game promoted on patreon and that would violate patreon ToS and Community Guidelines (in fact, when it was in the game, the developer had to remove all that in order to stay on patreon over 5 years ago). You can rename Mary - the homeowner of the house where the MC, Peter, lives - to whatever you want. There is quite a bit of content for Mary and Peter.

For v0.89.8 and before - It is listed on OP (see #2 above). It also unlocks the reworked gallery. If you are starting a new game -- after you gain control of the MC, click on the phone icon in the upper right corner. Then select "settings" and enter the cheat code there. If you are loading the included save at new content in slot 1-1, enter it in when loading that save for the first time.

No - what I typed says nothing like what you are asking.

There is a specific "reworked gallery" of some of the art that Uberpie updated in v0.82.4/v0.85.1 from prior versions. That "reworked gallery" was carried over to v0.89.8. That's all.

Yes.

You don't. They are separate. They are stand alone. If you want to see the gallery for v0.89.8 (Seasons 1-4) - then you need to download and run it separately from v0.95.7a (Season 5).

If you have a DVD for Star Wars 4: A New Hope and go into "Scene Selection" you should not expect to see scenes from the DVD for Star Wars 1: The Phantom Menace or vice versa. The similar concept is here.

In the past, I was under the impression that the different versions of Taffy Tales is one reason why saves weren't compatible between versions - Android identified each version as a different app. Is that not the case anymore?

I think the thread needs a disclaimer in the OP to make it clearer. The game was divided in two. Season 1-4 (v0.89.8) is what all new comers should be playing first. I get the confusion because many threads sometimes have an older version that is not necessary to play anymore available to download in the OP, I wouldn't have known if it wasn't because I read the thread a little bit before downloading or I would have though all I needed was Season 5 as well.

I get it, unfortunately, unlike with the other games that I have played that chose the renaming method, in this game apparently it wasn't programmed correctly and there's no way to make the game reconized her as your Mom to you and Mary to everybody else, because the game treats Mom as her name instead of as her noun. The best solution to me was to rename her to Mom (Mary). I'm surpirse this has never been fixed by a fan incest patch.

Not for me no, when I have the v0.89 downloaded and try to install v0.95 it only allows me to update the game Instead of it being 2 different apps and when I try to do the opposite it just wouldn't allow me to install the game at all.

While highly anticipated by many, I doubt it. The previews shared hint at possible storyline advancement but not that far (in fact, I would say from the previews it appears to be a little circular rather than advance).

Hm. Interesting. Sorry to hear. If you want to look at the animations and images from v0.89.8 - I have uploaded zip files of all the assets for people to download to their devices to open in image viewers and video players. No. Not even UberPie, the developer. They won't even hint at it until they get close to the release... if even then. They might give 24 hours heads up, they might just release it.

That said... maybe sometime between late October to the end of December -- but could be later. Last update was 3 months ago and no one should expect an update from Uberpie in less than 4 months - averaging closer to 7 in the past few years (not counting the major bugfix that was v0.85.1).
