As far as I can understand from the Steam page, the Redux v1.0 will have AI improved graphics / artworks, extra, not released yet scenes, AI improved animations, a more polished storyline with better interactions, better UI and more under the hood fixes and reworks of the game

v1.07.3 "Season 5" save and cheat codes do work. They've worked for the full year that v1.07.3 has been released.
Don't use the save editor. Don't use something written by some anonymous user that edits your Windows Registry.
If you're having this many problems and you don't like the narrative --- maybe... just maybe... this is not a game for you.
