Empathy for a guy that doesn't take into account fan criticism and milks his fans?
Even if I'm here to steal it, it doesn't matter. His supporters that pay him waited long enough.
The update's ready, he should release it. To give him the honor of releasing it on that date despite it being more than ready is being way too nice. There's literally no reason why to release it in 28 Jan
Honestly, it surprised me to see you like this. It reminds me that your track record defending Uberpie's ass was impressive back then LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

I'll give you something, atleast by the looks of it you don't treat him like an emotionless robot like the people I've been replying to.
so now, respect uber's vision on what he wants to do.

HEY, YOU'RE FAMILIAR. glad you recognize me haha, those were good days. I'm happy that you did, nice to see you again.

they say the more someone loves something, the more they'll eventually lose respect for it(within reason).

*Why is there so little here? Why isn’t it on time? Huh? Huh? Yeah, I’ll steal this, so what? You owe me anyway! Are you completely bloated with laziness over there? What’s that? Your store burned down twice in one year? Haha, cry me a river - it’s your problem. You’ve already looted plenty off your suckers, loser! Let your sycophants support you. I’ll get this for free, on time, and still trash you afterward (because that’s my opinion! That’s how I feel! I’m a sensitive soul, and my opinion is incredibly important! And it doesn’t matter whether I stole it or not - I HAVE THE RIGHT to demand, accuse, and even trash you after I get my full share).*

There’s no more pathetic and shameful sight than people who criticize, accuse, and mock the hard work of others - work they receive completely for free. And then they even mock those who sponsored and helped make it happen.
I could maybe understand this if it were directed at some massive, soulless corporation. But a product made by, like, 2 - 6 people? Seriously? How pathetic can you get, lol.
And of course, every one of these people has a gut-wrenching (no), deeply fascinating (definitely not, and no one cares to ask) personal story about how they got disillusioned and decided to “turn to the dark side” to just steal everything with a disgruntled look on their face.

I can’t think of a closer analogy than trust-fund hippie-commies on aggressive steroids. Honestly, it’s kind of funny - it’s like some wild social experiment.
Does anyone know if Tiffany is based on someone real?
just alost any long straight red haired pornstar with big forehead
As for Tiffany, yeah, I’m curious too. Considering her overall exaggerated facial style, it’s going to be tough. All I can say is that Jessica is definitely Billie Eilish. And I have some thoughts on Jennifer, but I’m not totally sure yet.

Damn, I came to this thread to listen to people’s mood before the release, and here is such a tragedy.
Steam had everything: very cool trailer, screenshots, intriguing description. Everything felt expensive. Everything is within the bounds of decency. How could they block this? It seems that for some these limits can be pushed back a little, while others are punished without any room for error.
Loads of anime characters that look exactly like young girls hit the shelves and are quietly sold. They are simply given a tag that they are witches who are over three hundred years old, living in a young body.) And no questions asked.
And they attacked the game developer and started tearing at him like animals.
It is quite understandable how empty the developers feel in their souls now.

Uber
*... and on Steam, it’s for existing in a "grey area." They’ve decided, based on their own interpretation, that it feels like a school setting - even though we’ve taken every measure to ensure otherwise: the lecture hall setting, clothes style, clear warnings that all characters are over 18, etc. But none of that seems to matter. There’s no mention of a school or anything related to it in the project. *

Well, though luck, I guess he will have to settle for the money he earns monthly in SS. Steam was a risky bet because the game was created around the school. It's like with incest, it doesn't matter if you call the mom landlady, it's what it is. Worse part is that they have been working for months on the Steam Seasons just for nothing.

Not for nothing. When they started using Seasons as versioning in 2023, they stated they wanted to eventually go break out each "Season" as a standalone download.

Uberpie being kicked off Patreon just actually got them focusing on "Season 1" standalone instead of delaying doing it.

Man, this whole season thing is so terrible for users. Maybe it looks like a cool concept to developers, but for user expierence its just inconvenient and a chore.

I said the same sentiment the first time and I used less words to do it that first time, but okay.
I mean more detail is always better. Telling me that UberPie doesn't fix the AI errors is more useful than "idk think about it yourself." Would I have preferred a more opinionated answer though? Yes. Doesn't seem like you're gonna give it so I'll at least take this.

After the Steam ban, I don't think this idea will stick. Though, I honestly don't know how else it's possible to work on such a massive project without breaking it into smaller parts.

I think we should just wait for the game itself and see how much they’ve actually fixed. Don’t you think?

I just hope this season 1 is actually a good length and doesn't end stupidly early because we don't know how long we will have to wait for season 2 or if he just scraps this seasons plan entirely.
But I hope it does release on the 28th and that this does put the traction back into this game as it was good.

What's going on? why's everyone so triggered?? o_O
Because Steam has officially decided to cancel the release of the new, updated Season 1 which was planned specifically to be launched there in 2 days, allegedly because the game was in a "grey area" and did not conform to their standards. This comes after the Patreon ban last year for similar reasons. Some people are blaming the platforms and other are blaming UberPie for failing to comply, while some are just worried that the game won't be released at all on the promised date due to these developments.

It's supposed to be 1/3 of the content of the current seasons 1-4, according to previous comments on this thread. I'm pretty sure he will stick with the seasons since he already used them when launching the current version (Season 5 v1.07.3c) back in Patreon times. He could simply release the game to his very loyal supporters on SubscribeStar on the already established date, but we'll see.
