Timer is a royal pain. Trying to get to corruption 3, and I believe I'm at about 25 runs of the 3rd level puzzle with only one win.

The timed 3rd level puzzle essentially ends the game, since it's well nigh impossible.

The first few puzzle games are ok, but after that they become a pain in the arse. I'm not enjoying them, so fuck it. I'll play something else. I don't see the point getting irritated by something I don't need to play.

I didn't hate the puzzle game as much as other people seem to. I agree that the timer could be longer, but it wasn't too much of a problem and only had to retry a few times.

The puzzle time increases after reaching corruption level 3. I made a mod with the puzzle pieces numbered but I can't post links without having at least 3 posts, so here's post #2 on this site.

. Just unzip into the data folder. I didn't number all the puzzles. Just 6 of them. The blocks are named with their (row, column) numbers.
If someone lets me know where the game saves are located, I can share my save with corruption > 4 and $50k in the bank.

I'm loving this game. Amazing art, pretty good UI, good dialogue.

I wonder about the black dude character. He kind of comes off as a future Ally that may teach the hypnosis stuff to mc. And I think the developer will want routes where the black dude goes around fucking with mc family or stops doing so. Kind of like the Eric path in summertime saga, but more sordid.

Does that get better at any point or is the whole game divided between insufferable assholes and oppressed victims, with the MC switching from stereotypical loner nerd to creepy pervert every now and then?

Nope you've pretty well nail it on the head. In it's current state it's not worth the download. Maybe if there is continued development and rework of the jigsaw puzzle timer, it's just a waste right now.

IMO the artwork looks amazing, the gameplay is at this point a straightforward PowerPoint slideshow with a puzzle minigame and 0 decision making involved. It may be that the devs are jsut setting up allot of good arcs to explore later on...

We will see - i hope they add good mechanics and more locations as the process goes on.
Overall up until you reach 96.5% of scenes and need corruption / immorality to unlock the last few - this feels like an into demo. So i say give it time...

Probably the only thing this game got good for it is the world pretty much built and the art style. The rest naw I despise Japanese Beta male type characters. Especially when it comes to porn. I'm sure this dude first sex scene will be reverse rape and I hope it's his sister.
