The issue is that human beings can be disappointed if they don't get what they expected. Even if they don't pay for it currently. I have paid for Taffy Tales, Waifu Academy, The senior, A town uncovered, Milfy City and a number of other games that I really loved, but I stopped supporting them after I was disappointed too many times. Finally I was disappointed enough to just stop supporting shit and ride the f2p waves, as I also hate Patreon for what they stand for I just pulled the plug entirely.
Also, one of the humanity's biggest moral values is honesty and integrity - which devs who lie about their activities and release dates are breaking. You can't not hate someone whose lies affect you (even if you get it for free). If a dev lies, should they keep getting positive feedback in the game threads so that more people could be fooled into supporting those consistent liars? I was defending Waifu Academy when it first started delaying stuff for months, I was defending the game in the thread, and now I am also one of the sarcastic people who occasionally opens the game thread to look at the despair in that game thread.
Taffy Tales has the potential to be better, Lostraven is a cool dude who's still willing to talk about the game he is actively helping out with, so at least he has integrity and honesty in the team, but he cannot change who Uberpie is (who might be a cool dude in RL, but man he spends time partying, doing nothing, lying, etc which is holding up the releases). I think that the toxicity of this thread is less than what Waifu Academy is, and other such games that are constantly being delayed with lies and deception (largely thanks to lostraven).
The trap memes are fun, and there's a lot more comedy and expectations surrounding the future content of the game rather than toxic hate towards the game and its dev.
Totally agree. Most of the games I enjoy I try not to check often or even better not to look at update schedule. Because games that I truly invested my hopes and expectations in tend to turn into industrial grade milking apparatus.
I think it is my fault to not clarify on the difference on complaining when you are a supporter and when you are just consuming content for free.
I was in the same position that you stated on your comment. I used to be a Patreon of the "The Luca Family", I liked the game a lot (I still like it), but I stopped supporting the game when he started to lie on the promises that he previously made ("when I reach 100 patreon I will start being consistent" a lie) and started to act like the typical milking dev (unnecessary reworks, revamps, etc, or long delays). My point with this is that as a patreon you got the right to complain about the product that you are supporting, but when you are not supporting shit, it seems like an entitled behaviour.

I think you answer yourself in the first text. This is a pirate site and our customer are the dev how can we serve them if they don't bring the booty. If there is no booty we are going to complain.
Personally I don't really care about the delay or things like that. I just enjoy the wave of the threads. People complaining, those who are insecure about their sexuality and explain why there aren't gay and lostraven trying to handle the wild thread. I'm enjoying my time here

Therefore, for this site to be contrary to authorship, you must earn direct income from the distribution of the material. Which does not happen, as far as I know, since it is financed with voluntary sources and not coercively for their services.
On the other hand we have the arguments against the author and the financing of his project. The payment made in patreon is voluntary and made by people with the necessary powers to be part of said financing system. Therefore, instead of attacking an alleged moral fault on the part of the author, they should focus on the responsibility of their business partners.
Regarding the content, which is an artistic theme of the author on the one hand and the demands of his clients on the other, I do not think it is something to discuss. If they are clients, they must transmit their demands to the author and if the author does not meet their requirements or requirements, we return to the subject of the previous paragraph.
