Isn't that what they've supposed to have fix in this patch?

And i agree about Darnell, IF it pans out like you say. Although the "more reasons to hate Darnell" bit can get out of hand quick, so i would rather not.

I don't get it. The entire point of having an antagonist is to get you invested in the story and to eventually feel the sense of victory over them when you beat them. I think it's fine. Hell I think it's better than fine, I think it's great. I fucking hate Darnell and I think it will be awesome to fuck his sister in front of him and I think his presence in the game's narrative adds some much needed drama to a VN that is otherwise just a complete power trip.

If anything I think they need to give the reader more reasons to hate Darnell. It'll make gong after him just that much sweeter.

My biggest complaint about the VN other than obvious bugs is the lack of a branching narrative and obvious continuity errors in the dialogs that have been there for literally years at this point.

Honestly, Darnell felt more like a rival type character at the very start of this. Hell you were even told that he wasn't all bad, and you even had an option to save him and possibly later team up with him. The real antagonist felt like that principal, with his whole mind breaking slave trading cartel going on. He even nearly broke Darnell's neck making him look like a total chump. Though I do have to say, post the forced Mary ntr scene, he felt more and more antagonistic, I guess because of the removal of the sharing route. Though i'm guessing that's what the rework is for, to potentially get rid of all that prior build up and make sense of this game going forward.

This is exactly what these games need, a reason fpr us to hate (not simply dislike) an antagonist so our victory is so much sweeter.

I don't know I think this is just a game that I can't get in to anymore. I stopped supporting a while back and I think I'll keep it that way. This reminds me of why I stopped enjoying SS, just too much of trying to make a porn game feel like a full game. Yes the game part is nice but I care more about the porn. I'd much rather the time being spent on actual new scenes instead of mechanics like "now it's from the mom's perspective!". Just pretty disappointed.

Wait theres an order to these events? No seriously I honestly forgot these had an order to them. Not a complaint but I genuinely never knew these went in order.

I didn't know, Also really? the story made sense to me but, I thought I could just do whatever to advance not order of events required.
