APK is a package file, not too dissimilar to ZIP. When you downloaded the file from Workupload - your system added the ZIP extension to the name of the file. Just edit the name to remove the .zip

Thank you!
No, it doesn't. There's something missing to the telling of the experience.

I just played the beginning, again. There is one task which triggers the "Relax and have a good time" task - and that is completing the "Why is Jennifer yelling at Mary?" task. It took all I could NOT to complete that task because at first, the map wouldn't activate - it begged me to complete that task. Finally, I kept doing everything by having the MC walk along the sidewalk to places until the game said fuck it and gave the map back. I got Clara all the way up to the "Time to find the cleaner" task. I got the MC through the fondling Mary at night tasks. The MC was the plumber and did homework with Priscilla. Got the ball and took photos of Harry. Sara went over to MC's house for dinner. But nothing further until the MC watched Jennifer yelling at Mary. Once he did, everything cascaded again. Here's a video starting just before triggering that sidewalk scene and then everything popping up after.

This goes back to the advice not to attempt to only work one storyline route - eventually you either will create a bug in the game or run into dead ends. Just complete the tasks as they appear.

A player has to fight the game not to do the task and then ignore it for several weeks (3+?) if you walked the MC out his front door in the first week or two. Too many people use the map to get from bedroom to everywhere else in the morning and they miss triggering the task that pops the Jennifer scene. Players should walk downstairs and out the front door before using the map.
One small correction regarding
Just complete the tasks as they appear.
some tasks appear long before you can complete them, don't get hung up on them just do the tasks you can do. But I agree 100% with the rest, most stuff has a logical flow if a quest isn't firing, just do the other tasks until it does. (and if in doubt click everything)

Is anyone's game a bit different to the walkthrough? My game starts with receiving a package and then getting hit by a car where the red version of MC is introduced. But all walkthroughs I can find start in a classroom.

Then there's the Becca questline of walking her home but I can't seem to find her anywhere then even days later she isn't there to walk home? Do not completing tasks at a certain time lock you out of events?

All the walkthroughs you are finding are for versions v0.68.2 and older. There is no written walkthrough for either of the newest versions, last spring's v0.82.4/v0.85.1 or the current v0.89.8b.
See #8 in the FAQ below for links to video walkthroughs (one by TGame on YouTube for v0.85.1 and the one I linked for the thread) - both have most of the tasks timestamped. I also recommend reading #1, because there were several posts within the past 3 days that discussed the out of date walkthroughs on mejoress and outofmeta -- and you would have found one of the previous 42 postings of my FAQ. Here's number 43:

The walk through is out of date, they added new content to the beginning a couple of versions ago, but for the most part it is fairly superficial get past the new introduction and most quests play out more or less the same way.

This is what happens once you registry has been corrupted folks if you are seeing similar issues I suggest wiping your TT reg files if you know what you are doing if not well likely you will continue getting strange bugs.

Hmm Okay not seeing any animations at all none of them. :( Playing B version. Other wise no others issues. I hesitate to call it a bug though plenty of others are not having this issue. At least Count Morado 's video will show me what happens ;)

My playthrough is a speedrun. No pauses for the fun while doing that. HAHAHA. So during your gameplay you haven't seen any of the scenes that are in the videos behind the spoiler at the bottom of this post? #25,741

Nope none. None of the animations will play for me even after I have the place holder image in the gallery when I click on them I get a black screen.

It must have to do with my rig. I am curious in what file format the animations are in?
In the new content, the animations that I exported from Taffy Tales are all m4v. Any other moving images in the game are simply static images flipping back and forth. If you can see the videos in that post - you should be able to see them in the game. It looks like F95 changed the extension from m4v to mp4.

Developed by Apple and nearly identical to the MP4 format, a file with the M4V file extension is an MPEG-4 video file, or sometimes called an iTunes video file. You'll most often find these types of files used for movies, TV shows, and music videos downloaded through the iTunes Store. You can play it on a Windows PC with Windows Media Player, VLC, Miro, MPlayer, QuickTime, and probably many other media players.

I've zipped up an m4v to this post to see if you can play it from your desktop with VLC or Windows Media Player. If not, then you might need to verify if your Windows and video drivers are up to date. View attachment tiffany_dance.zip

Yeah I have no problem viewing it using MPC-HC. So it must be in the game where the issue is.

I had quite an odd bug for some reason.
During the first day instead of going straight to school I decided to look around the house and for some reason when I got to the school everything went haywire....
All character event were appearing on the screen, as if I've already played part of their story.
And thing only got worse from there, story progression was all over the place and in the end I decided to restart the game today....
Just to let you know, the event where you go home with Becca only appeared on day 30 as many other events were taking priority.
Anyway, just letting you guys know so make sure you go straight to school on first day at least.

(PS: I've played this game before, so I just decided to go back playing it today. And I did not load an old save. This happened with a clean game install.)

I agree it must be something in the application, either in the coding or in an Unity setting. It could also be that, in combination with the chipset for the computer or video card. The game works fine on my computer.

Is there anything strikingly different in yours? (maybe you run an AMD processor or a different video card brand? what's your RAM? etc?)

Are you aware the entire beginning of the game was changed in the last update in April/May? If you haven't played that update, that is why you might think things look weird. It sounds like you are going on v0.68.2 and previous gameplay memories and walkthroughs (which seems to be even more popular of a topic the past three days on this thread, more so than when this update came out eleven days ago).
It went from a straight VN to a VN with faux-sandbox qualities. Also, after the car accident, you get a shitton of tasks all at once. Becca's task line has change in order, as well as others. You should look at the YouTube video playlist link at #8 in my FAQ at the top of this page #25,821 to FF through the first video in that playlist so you can compare your experience.
