Please, please, can we get folks to stop using the "Bestiality" tag for things which already have their own specific tags?
"Tentacles" refers to a very specific kind of content, but folks also tag anything with tentacles as "Bestiality" and thus makes the "Bestiality" tag incredibly useless.
Like, nobody cares if the tentacle monster is sapient, humanoid or a mass of flesh; the appeal of the fetish that It's tentacles.

But know what's incredibly frustrating? Trying to search for non-tentacle/bug-type "Bestiality".
Because anytime a game includes both the tags "Bestiality" and "Tentacles", there's a pretty unfortunate chance the game ONLY contains tentacles... Or more frustratingly includes tentacles, some insects and fuck-all-else.

We need to make "Bestiality" a mutually-exclusive term/tag.
We need to separate it from its use alongside "tentacles" and, if possible, insects...

Because whilst all of these may fall under 'Bestiality' in reality, the appeals of these specific creatures and bodies are vastly different.
Tentacles appeal to folks that enjoy the squish, the slime and the squid-y feels.
Bugs appeal to the freaks whomst enjoy creepy-crawly and gooey things.
But most folks searching the "Bestiality" specifically are NOT into those things.
Most are looking for mammalian critters, perhaps the occasional fish or somesuch.

This is a major flaw in tagging, right now.
Because in essence, the "Tentacles" tag renders "Bestiality" meaningless due to the latter being slapped on alongside the former regardless of whether there's anything other than tentacles in the game or not.

It's almost as bad as when we had no way to tell if a game featured Netori or Netorare when it was tagged "NTR"...
Now we can search "Cheating" and those in the know can at least avoid Netorare without missing out on Netori...
But "Bestiality" is in dire need of distancing from "Tentacles" and "Bugs"/"Insects" or whatever.

Could you share any game example? I never stumbled upon any bestiality tagged game only depicting tentacles and would be very surprised if it exists.

Here are the website definitions since it seems like you are lost:
  • Bestiality [A sex act between a person and an animal. (Not monsters, aliens...).]
  • Tentacles [Tentacle Monster using tendrils for sexual purposes. (Does not classify as Monster).]
  • Monster [Any male sentient being that is not human, robot, animal, or furry. e.g trolls, orcs.]
  • Monster Girl [Any female sentient being that is not human, robot, animal, or furry. e.g trolls, orcs.]
But I agree that there should be a tag for insects.

Sorry for the incredibly late reply, I extremely-rarely check my chat/reply notifications.
Most of the 'bestiality' tagged titles with 'tentacle-exclusive' content are typically Japanese translated works or works in a similar genre.
Can't give any specifics off the top of my head since, again, I tend to avoid such.

Really not a fan of tentacles in spite of enjoying bestiality content in eroge, really huge turn-off...
But I certainly find it frustrating when a game is tagged with 'bestiality' only to play it or read the forums and discover the game is just another tentacle-exclusive.

My prime issue, if it's not understood thus far, is that games with tentacles are not just tagged with 'tentacles' but also with 'bestiality' because of the logic of "It's not human, ergo bestiality." The problem with this is that it means anybody searching for 'bestiality'-tagged content, those looking for animal-human lewdity, will also end up with bugs and tentacles taking up huge chunks of the search results.

Luckily nowadays we can actually slap the 'exclude X' tag on such things as tentacles to try and trim the results, but some folks don't properly tag their content and just use 'bestiality' without adding 'tentacles' to such in addition... Because of the above logic/definition of bestiality technically covering tentacles.

And yeah, totally agree on the insects needing a tag.

While I don't have the names of games that pull the bestiality-but-it's-all-tentacles bait-and-switch off the top of my head, a quick search shows I commented on one such annoyance ages ago.
The game in question has some interspecies seggs between humanoids... But I seriously doubt anyone with a brain would, reasonably, tag such relations as 'bestiality' beyond the most strictly pedantic definition of the word.
Not really sure one could call slime-seggs such either when it mostly amounts of gooey-tentacle-play.
Monster + Tentacle in the case of slimes, maybe? Eh.

Anyhow... Much as it irks me, at least I can slap an exclusion on tentacles when searching such things.
In a similar vein is the whole 'futa x feral' thing; most games with bestiality involve characters bottoming, even those games with a futa MC or cast. Shame, that...
Trying to find eroge with non-bottom futa x beast content is a pain in line with the rarity of the niche.

In my experience this is just not true, plain out wrong.

Just looking at those games I have opened tabs for: 3 have "tentacles" and NOT bestiality. (the other games have neither)

When you come across a game that is tagged incorrectly, report the first post and explain how it is tagged wrongly.
You can not provide proof that sth. is NOT in a game, so might need some convincing, well-written report.
Keep in mind that to be sure you need to have seen ALL of the game, and generally that even the smallest one-off occurence of a thing is enough for a tag to be justified.
