I won't use Patreon because I don't want a subscription based payment model. I want to make a one time to a developer to support his/her work. I'm finding it quite difficult to do so as seems like some devs are completely isolated inside Patreon and there's no way to get in touch with them or find an authorized single point method for payment, Venmo, Paypal or whatever. It's a shame that I have money in my hand that I want to give but I'm at a loss on how to do it.

Would love any thoughts or suggestions on single payment to devs.

As the subject says... Take my money! Please!

Nothing is stopping anyone from using Patreon for a one-time pledge - either for a tier benefit amount or for a "custom amount" of their choosing. Then they can choose not to renew the subscription so that it is a one-time transaction. Note, "custom amount" has no tier benefits attached - no matter the amount.

I'll have to give it another go based on your comment. I only remember seeing a choice of tiers and subscription amounts. Thank you very much Count Morado for the good intel.

Even if there were a way to get in touch with them, I guess that they aren't really ready to loose their paypal or whatever account because they would have been caught getting money for porn, what is against the rules for many of those payment processors.
