Remember to do a backup file of everything you are going to tweak before hand.
If you're using the windows version, go to your toa-data folder, open the save you're currently using notepad(or do a quicksave in-game and then open the quicksave.json with notepad), then look for certain keywords with ctrl+f in there, like "basestrength" and you'll find your current "character sheet" there you can change the amount of your base stats, but i wouldn't go above 7 on each, since you can get base stats to 10 with perks and get more with certain gear, dunno if going above 11 can cause some weird stuff to happen or corrupt your save.
There's also other keywords to look out for, like:
Food
Money
skillPoints
magicPoins
perkPoints
willpower
Just replace the numbers you see to what you want, do not take out any other characters or add spaces or lines and you should be good to go.
Oh and you can just enable "cheats" mode in the options, this will allow you to engage in any map encounter you want, not run out of food and avoid bad ends, it doesn't do anything else, atleast to my knowledge.

I'd like to see something similar to the centaur's "bad end". Maybe keep exploring with the "wife" visiting (so she doesn't has to be added as another companion)

Aside of roaming around the map, you can simply use the cheats to enable "encounters" (at the bottom of the screen, while on map) and take a look.
If you do, take every possible option to get all the variants.
In Breeding Grounds encounter, if you win 2 times, you can continue your journey.
If reciprocate in the event start, get fucked or lose the first battle, you can be fucked by 1 harpy and, if you try to talk, get nest lovin'.
If you win the first harpy, you can be fucked by 2 harpies (run) or make a blowjob to 2 harpies (talk).
If you lose or fuck in the second battle, you can get a splitroast scene.

So how do you apply settings on the app version? I only see the (x) to close the menu and that doesn't save the settings.

You sure your antivirus isn't blocking anything? Do you have jawa in you pc? Off board video card? Some older onboard cards may have issues playing the game.

Nevermind, figured it out. For some odd reason, it won't allow me to save. I'll click the button and it'll say that it saved but if I accidentally go back to the main menu, nothing.
My laptop is unable to download more than 900mb at once, with every patch I'm waiting for anyone to drop a compressed version. I used to download a torrent from another site, but its down for a week already. what do I do now&
The Android version provided is the bugged version of Options menu. Either the dev didnt update it properly or the downloaded file was a mistake. You just have to wait for the re release. Or you can do what i did. First download a previous android version. Then do all what you need to do on that version including a options editor and then just download the updated version. Whatever you have saved in the options menu will carry over.
