Java - Tales of Androgyny [v0.3.51.2] [Majalis]

This game is just one of the greatest porn games that I've played, I am serously waiting for the 1.0, I would surelly buy it when it launches. It has a great art style, everything is so hot, even at v0.3 it has an enormous ammount of animations, events and exploration, and last but not least, a very cool, and quite complex, combat style that I've never seen before.

I don't get why this game is so highly rated, it's one of the worst games on this platform. Oh boy, where do I start..

First of all, the game is absolutely cluttered up with UI elements and stuff. Just way too much and overcomplicated. It tries to be on a Dungeons & Dragons level of depth with tons of stats and values that you have to learn.

There is no tutorial, instead of introducing you step by step into the world, combat and mechanics, you have to read the game mechanics in shape of plain text in the beginning before the game has even started. It's too much to mesmerize and since you haven't even played the game yet, a lot of stuff doesn't make sense yet.

It would've been better to introduce elements step by step instead of throwing it all into the players face.

Next up is the sex scenes: They're not animated, and they are of very boring quality. In fact, these were some of the most underwhelming poses I have ever seen. You see sex scenes in POV, which means your character being a futa is pointless as you see only your dick.

And then you see only the tip of it that goes right into whoever you have sex with, at the very bottom of the screen, almost out of frame. How can someone make such bad sex scene placements?

Also important characters are sometimes buried behind the huge textfield-background.

The only good thing about this game is that it's hand drawn. But it tries way too much at once, while doing a very poor job at being a NSFW game.

One of the hottest rogue like games I have ever played, sad there aren't more porn games like this one. The combat mechanics are a little complex. However, the graphics are extremely hot, and the gameplay is also fun!

A very difficult game to review. I would like to rate it high but there are just too many problems that take points away. First and foremost, this project tends to be a patreon milking scam but only... periodically? The pace of development is very messy. Sometimes you get a ton of stuff even weekly then you get months of middle fingers to the patreon supporters.

The game itself overall is okayish. The combat system itself is a complete mess, but the game makes up for it with the option to just skip it by acting like a total slut and get the rape scenes where most of the content lies anyways.
Unfortunately it seems there is a higher emphasis on the rape content and fever on either consensual or dominant encounters and that tends to generally be true based on the updates.

The main thing that manages to keep this game afloat is the art. It is of high quality, with good animations, nice consistency and great variety. Honestly I feel like the game would be better of as a kinetic novel (which what the patreon version tries to be). That's where this game would shine.

My advice is just forget this combat thing. Or if you insist on it, you have to simplify and streamline it because it just doesn't work the way it is... and forget the classes. Completely unnecessary in my opinion.

It has everything that need to be in RPG, various character builds, gear combinations, complex combat mechanics with multiple layers of defence and various abilities (including battlefuck ). Its has even active evasion system. Aside combat it`s has nonlinear playtrough, multiple encounter resolve, various romance options, inside and outside the party, sub or dom relationships and so on. The only flaw it`s has the party members don`t have all this number and choices richness and serve only as minor helpers.

I've been around since the public release and it's still my go to femboy game.
The characters and interactions b/w them the MC are great and easy to wank it to. I suggest waiting about 3 major updates for good milage

Absolutely love the art, love the gameplay, love everything about this game!! Always looking forward to the next update, seeing what will be new and updated! Especially love the interactions with the gobbos and orc!

It's really god damn good, kinda wish there was a option to increase dick size by alot to be bigger than most futas in the game since it feels weird to stay at average.(hung bottoms are hot)

The combat is pretty nice although seduction feels a bit lacking.

Love this game. Have found myself playing it in a nonsexual fetishist context as well. The roguelite mechanics are actually really well done, near the best gameplay I've seen from a porn game. + Tons and tons of content, with more being consistently added.

I love this game soo much! The only thing I would change is I would love to have an option in the game, perhaps as a difficulty setting, to allow for the player to always be able to rewind an action(or multiple), even in battle. This would be particularly nice as this sex game really is the most "game" like ones I have played; there is actually some level of skill involved to achieve the best and most desirable outcomes, and when there is little to no blood in my brain a rewind option, even in battle, would be helpful. lol, hope this finds you well.

This game has excellent art - I'm not particularly into futas, yet I've greatly enjoyed this game simply due to how good the art is.

It features constant lewd animations, as the combat system itself can be done through lewd acts as well as normal combat.

There are some mechanics which aren't explained very well such as willpower, which seems to be necessary to progress past the Dark Lord, but you only figure that out once you reach that part and notice that you're unable to continue.

It'd also be nice if you could pick which skills show up in your combat menu, as often you'll start by buying weaker versions of late game spells, and they only clutter your menu.

Highly recommended.

Fantastic RPG where you get to be an Androgynous person frolicking through, getting blown out by every futa you see ... or not! The combat is kinda wonky but they keep updating this game year after year so I'm sure it'll be overhauled at some point. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend.

Updating my review from a 5 to a 3. It's become apparent that this game will never ever be finished. Sets the standard of what a patreon milk is. The writing and art are good, exceptional even, but the progress of development is being obfuscated by the frequent (and small) updates.

" The initial info barrage was overwhelming. A bit of dedicated gaming instead of frantically looking for NSFW stuff really brings out fun and Allure (wink wink) of the game. Started with a Charisma dumped charecter and had too many failures. Playing with different builds and the fun (and other things) grows. Seem I still have a bunch of scenes to unlock to which I look foward too. Awesome game. can't wait to continue playing and look forward to more content

Really love this game. You can be as dominant or submissive, as prude or slutty, as you want. If you want a happy ending - you've got to earn that happy ending. And if you're stupid enough - you can even be killed. And even those death scenes are really hot!

This game is.. amazing!

the world building and effort to make content throughout all of development, the bugfixes, the smoothness, most teams would end development here, or drag it out with fruitless patches to keep the money rolling in but every time i return to this game it's so much more and the workflow doesn't change!

The only con i can give for this game is an overwhelming amount of futa content, but who cares?? it's hot! and this game is so extensive that it contains even straight content despite being a dominant futa game.

The artistry is incredible, there are many fully animated scenes with an area of fetishes that are so well accounted for and each of them avoidable to some amount if you choose the right options.

A good thing this game does is not fail at is being a game, in depth combat, skills, character building, advanced stat calculations and all of it tying into the adult themed narrative, be strong, never lose and always scrape the odds in your favour? happens after a few runs! frail, easily manipulated and taken control of? this is how the game will treat you if you don't adapt, whatever is hotter to you, you can always control this aspect even if you're strong (you can purposefully fail events that check your stats to give a "good" or "bad" outcome)

This game is an absolute perfection of it's category, i will buy this game if it ever gets to the god status of completed, if you bomb the ratings down on this game just bc it has cocks and you're a straight man, shame on you

I love the main character.
The art and animations are the best ones on these site.
A good gameplay with a wide variety of little histories that can end in lots of ways depending on what you do.
And a very useful gallery if u know what i mean

If you're into playing as a trap/sissy and like futa's or big butts, this is a game for you. You should know what demographic this is for, it's called Tales of Androgyny, so don't get put off by your character being a trap with balls. The game wears its theme on its sleeves. You don't like being a character that either gets fucked or stays pure, don't complain. Kinks are submissive-leaning with game mechanics meant to be difficult enough for you to actually fail in combat, though I always cheated on the game so if you're not having fun, do the same. Don't dislike something because you can't adapt to it, because you personally don't enjoy the kinks, hate on it when it doesn't have any love on it. And this has plenty of love put into its creation. The thing I love the most about this game are the frequent updates, many minor tweaks and changes that are quality of life or adds a scene or two. Sure, may not seem like much, but it will leave the next person to try the game even more great content to enjoy. Hope those in the future have an even greater experience than I did when I first played, because this was one and still one of my favorite porn games of all times.

When I first stumbled upon Tales of Androgyny, I immediately dismissed it as something that wasn't for me. "No way!" I exclaimed, definitely out loud, "that's gay, and I'm not gay." Lo and behold, one bisexual awakening later, it turns out that this game is... actually pretty damn good!

There's a lot to cover with ToA. I've barely even explored the second map, but the amount of content in this game is genuinely really impressive. The smut scenes are plentiful and pretty high in quality, with a surprising variety between topping and bottoming (although it seems like the latter has significantly more content). The actual gameplay part is also similarly engaging, and I think the combat and battle-fuck system mesh really well together.

While the mechanics of ToA are surpisingly in-depth, it's also one of my biggest grievances with the game. Shoving a bunch of new concepts in a new player's face at the same time can certainly be a turn-off for some, but from my experience, learning to grasp and understand those mechanics can feel very rewarding once it finally "clicks."

If you enjoy femboy and futanari content, then you absolutely NEED to try out Tales of Androgyny. ToA has quickly become one of my favorite games on this site and I 100% recommend giving it a shot.

(P.S: The game itself receives consistent updates and progress reports, which is becoming less and less common nowdays. Mad props to the devs.)
