I've actually tried it several times to get it to work but i keep getting no window added messages pop up. It did actually work by random a couple times though. Just now while trying to get it to work again after closing the game and reopening it again, i pressed f4 and it fixed on it own. F4? Wtf?

It can be a little bit finicky to get it to start but once you get it working it saves the game in it's profile so every other time you boot TOA and have that WBG already running it will do it automatically. Check the global settings. Mine is F3. I manually click the "Add window" option from the program down in the taskbar and then click on the TOA window and that's what got it to stick.

There is another program with a very similar name that does the same exact thing but I stopped using that one as it was causing my PC to hang on occasion.

Hang in there. Trust me I know the frustration your going through. Nothing is worse than when things don't work like the should and since not to many people use Nvidia Optimus I doubt they will ever fix whats causing the problem in the first place.

^ Yeah i figured out how to to get it to work properly now. Thing is though when the game switches to wbg mode, the text isn't as good. Like the sharpness is lowered by the wbg program. It's not terrible just i can tell the quality has been lowered some. Thanks for recommending WBG to me though and i will keep it for running the jar version, but for now i will just keep using the exe version with fullscreen mode. It's borderless too but without the lowered quality n the text font. At least now i have 2 options.

For everyone having problems with the game, I propose a simple solution, since the game is not very resource-demanding:
1 - install virtualbox
2 - install a lightweight linux distro (linux mint or something)
3 - install the guest additions on the guest system
4 - enjoy

I play 2d games in a virtual machine all the time, should really work just fine

I appreciate the help but I have only had issues like this with a very small handful of games out of the hundreds that I own. I'm on a laptop so it's most likely an issue with Nvidia and Optimus. It's not like the game is demanding I run it with the onboard crappy Intel graphics chip and not my Nvidia card. It's also not a big deal as I said I found the solution just using a simple 3rd party program to get around the issue.

My real issue is why disable the maximize button in the first place when there was no reason to do so? That change is also when the weird sizing and border issue also cropped up as shown by the pic I provided earlier.

Yes i agree with you it really annoys me when devs remove the maximize button on video games that previously had it i have no idea why anyone would actually want to do that honestly as it minimizes the amount of people that can use the product due to different desktop sizing of each computer and can cause a wide variety of issues as it currently is

It's got to be the stupid Nvidia optimus setup since I too am playing on a gaming laptop. It's caused problems with other games before. Just use Windowed Borderless Gaming from the link I posted earlier. It takes care of the problems here and with the other games that have trouble displaying properly with optimus.

Unfortunately Optimus is known to cause these kind of issues in the past so it is likely that it may be causing a lot of the problems here one would think nvidia would actually make a hotfit for this issue

There are currently specific scenes where your ass is so full of cum it comes out of your mouth. The update they're talking about 'coming up' is to systemise that instead of making it hard coded in certain places.

Right, also after playing many hours of ToA and watching always changelog.txt i want to add something else here to the above reply.
"Scenes" means a text, also dialogue buttons - while you play. "Scenes" doesn't mean that there is a graphical content attached to it.
So if in the changelog.txt you will see for ex. "Urka scene ... added" it means just as above. More dialogues to choose, and its consequences...

My comment on that one is just for newbies. Don't get me wrong. It took me awhile just to figure this out.
