I hate story mode ngl. No amount of sleep gets rid off debuffs and the mana never goes above 6. So I am unable to beat the ghost.

Must be a change that was made to the magic balance, because the ghost should just be defeated in like a few blasts. Are you getting the spells from the cottage and not learning them manually?
