I'm informing you that I will no longer be posting new versions due to the excessively high price for a monthly subscription for this "game"—$9.50 for a new version drop every 2-3 months. It's a complete scam, otherwise, why hide monthly income? Generation may be quite expensive (the paid ones), but there are plenty of alternatives, especially "local" ones.

Orachi won't be restoring Patreon protection, so just band together and chip in for 1 subscription.
Orachi не будет восстанавливать защиту Patreon, так что просто объединитесь и скиньтесь на 1 подписку.

To be fair that hiding monthly income stuff was going on around the time he was making his other game gr0wth gambit. So, it's been a thing for a while now.

Gambit has also been dragged out. Overall, I think Gambit is more interesting than Tales of Mystra. It has too many problems, mainly with optimization, as it has a lot of engine add-ons installed, and the plot is unclear (even despite being at version 0.30). Gambit could have been developed much better, but they decided to cut it.

I agree, I was going to support at one point because this fetish is a particular one I like, and there's not many people that make games for it. I'm super iffy with A.I. though, and it seems to be a pattern that lots of people are using A.I. for this particular fetish, I'd assume that's because it's a niche one, and hard to find artists for, hence A.I. comes in to fill the blanks. It seems to be a thing in general though, and it's the same level of laziness I've seen with people using Koikatsu and Honey Select 1 and 2 models for games.

What stopped me wanting to support 0rachi, was the attitude when a public version was linked here, and not a paid version, 0rachi even admitted later it was just assumed (lol), threatened to stop completely, or put restrictions into place, and some other stuff.

There's another creator I like a lot, that has similar fetish stuff in their game (they're not on here), but they have other elements as well. That person's also using A.I., and just recently bumped their pixiv fanbox price from 25 to 35. 25 was already a reach and way overboard considering they don't make much content each month.

I don't see any problems with using AI at all, as it reduces the wait time for new illustrations without depending on artists (unless you generate them yourself). While we can lose fine details between images, another option is to use 3D.
3D will be more efficient than 2D in the long term.

That's why I said I'm iffy with it. I can see the good, but like I said, it's just very similar to the koikatsu, and Honey Select 1 and 2 models being used in games.

The problem I have is it's a double-edged sword; it turns into a thing of anyone can do it with enough know-how, the closest thing I can think of as an example is if you know the movie Incredibles. There's a quote from the main villain, "If everybody's super, nobody is", meaning if anyone can use these tools, it takes away the uniqueness that artists give.

I'm willing to give it a bit of a pass like I said, because it's a niche fetish, and niche things are hard to find people for in multiple areas, so at the same time I can understand.

That's my main issue with A.I., just like the games that used Koikatsu models, and Honey select 1 and 2 models, it winds up being tons of slop, reminds me of the Unity games being asset flipped.

Pretty much, it becomes quantity over quality.
