I used the minotaur's stun skill on him and quickly kill him, but it's a 50% chance soooo....
Even 50% of the time it works every time.As long as you are save scumming.
Got that twat. I also got Nivara to debuff and multi hit him.

I tried to test it on Yilei... seems stuns not working on her. I can't outdamage her constant regen and all that physical immunity. I need some magic nukers or something. Anyone know what followers to pick for that?

1. I just can't figure it out. The game interface is completely... I don't want to swear. Why can't I look in the menu to see what combat abilities and skills my units have? Why, instead of reading about them, do I have to go into battle and memorize everyone's abilities? Is it really that hard to set up?
2. Unit balance is still absolutely atrocious. There are very few units that provide heat, and their presence on the team is unavoidable.

Kinda true, since I also mostly use the main characters, since the others seem kinda weak or situational. BTW where and how do you find and recruit Xin, I think I checked every where but could not find her.

I don't know anything about her yet. And I haven't looked for her yet. I'm using one of the Cultists instead of the dragon in my team because she has huge physical damage to two targets, and she takes 5% of her HP for heat. HP is restored with lifesteal.
Maybe it will be in the 3rd act?

I've met a lady in a place where you enter The Wound, from The Tower with riddles and this garbage chess game.
But only after you got to Rova'shi (i think) and during night (probably).
She will unlock lower floor of The Tower, where you can find Xin here.

Got second superboss by guide.
Honestly, it's not worth it to level her up by fighting her.
I am sick and tired of spongy and constantly regaining shit, not even Xin can nuke her.
And dick dev even come up with a skill that let your party automatically hit her and absorbing damage into an assload of health.
I am fucking hate this dev so much right now.

I am the guy who wrote the second superboss guide, I shouldve added this part too:
The ONLY way that I personally found to kill (and thus level up) the second superboss is using the Gamemaster recruit (the person who makes you play the comically difficult chess minigame).

Besides EASILY being one of the best recruits in the game to the point I use her in nearly every single loadout and is a near permanent party member, she also has an ability that has a 10% chance to instantly kill ANYTHING. Including bosses. This works on every boss in the game except one optional act 3 boss (but that is because that one boss just always dodges it for some reason)

The ability does use 60 mana per cast though. Yet for some reason is glitched and can be casted even when you are out of mana (imagine the face of joy I had when I randomly discovered this).
Furthermore for some reason you often cannot cast it in the first 2-3 rounds of any battle. I genuinely have no idea why.
Anyways, definitely worth it.

Edit: If anyone else finds a different method, please tell me about it. I am curious if there is a method that doesnt include borderline cheese like this.
I tried debuff stacking with queen slime for example but that did not work.

Also this...

I can't even with his incompetance...

How the fuck do i need to know how much i have for that Estate?
I'll tell you, go to the shop and buy ACK's.
Remember the price.
If it gets below 10k, do the math, reload and remember how many times you have to win in BlackJack to get 30k. Not sure draw counts, dev is a stingy asshole.

This game is such a mess that only exploits will only work.
I bet he patched that mana bug in v32 to keep this game as miserable as possible.

Speaking of which, i know that you have an agreement to keep it safe for a month, but can we atleast see changelog?

So, how exactly do i get ball room event?
Because guy who got it forgot and his explanation means nothing, such a damn shame.
If it's related to a skeleton pile in area where you find witch's assistant that trying to make growth potion, then it's dialogue played ONCE and never repeats. I didn't remember it,nor screened it and i don't have a save befor this.

I had to replay this piece of shit third time...

Update: Well. That wans't even remotely related to Ball Room. I am tired of that cryptic shit.

FINALLY FOUND IT!

Orb is in the room before staircase that leads to the bedroom.
This is where you go to the Ball Room after.

I really struggled with this one too for ages, in fact the replies you likely read were people trying to help me out.
I finally do know the answer though:

Apparently it is linked to the Oishi quest (WHY???). You need to fight Oishi once before you can encounter the snow leopard.
Encountering Oishi was also something we all bloody struggled with in this thread, thankfully we now know she first spawns north-west of New-Teropo.

After that a corpse will spawn on the coast, you really can't miss it. Interact with the corpse and see the leopard.

Orachi trying not to do stuff overly fucking cryptic and mysterious challenge (impossible).

I got 2 of 3 world events on the second island completed, except for Absorbing Demon. I can't find her in the forest and i am sure as hell don't want to go to the swamp to look for her. So if i see text about her it's basically game over because she drains your height to zero. Fucking Orach...

Might aswell make unofficial wiki about this game.

Speaking of world event enemies.

It's simon says thing.

The longer you let them gain, the longer you need to complete the sequence, which is rediculous. No one is super human enough to remember all that shit with a timer nonetheless, with shitty inputs reaction you easily fail first one because you get practically 1 second for that. And no, you can't recruit them and it's not worth it for complete portraits in gallery.

Also when event started you get into dungeon status, no teleporting or saving, so it's game over if you get Absorbing Demon since you can't find her in the forest.

I only managed to do 1 out of 3 after half an hour+ trying to optimize it, even if you walk the perfect path you still have to walk about a minute for each event and do a ~10-step Simon says minigame, it is absurd. Got close a bunch of times but then decided it is not worth it and checked the discord, Someone asked this too and apparently there is straightup no reward for any of them besides 100 pure mana. At that stage in the game every enemy encounter tends to give around 80.

Did you figure anything out to make the 2 you did beat easier? I tried going back and forth between loading screens to reduce the walking time and thus the minigame step amount but it seems the events can only trigger if you enter the forest from the village/your house. Which means it's still about a minute of walking and a brutal ~10-step long minigame.
I guess writing down each step really is the only option, absurd.

Anyways, despite all of that..
The absorbing demon is inside the swamp. Fairly close to the western entrance. She should be in the north-north-east from there, shouldn't be more than a ~10-15 second walk ignoring the delay from the absurd amount of enemies.

Edit:
I spent another 40 minutes beating the other 2 girls (this time I did use a notepad :l ) and figuring out more details, turns out the northern exit from the village can also spawn the events from the in-between areas (albeit at a much rarer rate(?))
This is only useful for the absorbing demon however, also pretty much the ONLY way to defeat her as walking normally from the village makes her have an absurd ~15+ step minigame.
If you take the northern path the path towards the demon is:
North-east (only route possible), north-west, north-west, north-east.

Anyways, as expected beating all 3 of the events has no separate reward and most baffingly of all none of the 3 events have any entries in the CG Gallery.
