VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Tamas Awakening [v1.0b] [Whiteleaf Studio]

Not much to say about this one. A decent household incest harem deal and it does a pretty decent job in terms of the smut. The writing tho, it's just incoherent and disjointed, alternating between amateurish writing and some being trying to mimic a human. The plot constantly keeps you guessing the character's actions as the writer breaks their own rules every so often. The relation between the characters are also a weak point since instead of gradual development things just happen out of nowhere. The art is pretty decent when it's fully drawn CGs but they are few and far between as most scenes are sprite based and then there are the "animations" in those scenes which are like 2 frames of only the colliding parts on loop alternating for the entire scene while the faces and other limbs and objects are stiff. I wish they didn't go for this and instead just had drawn full CGs with alternating frame variation that comes up as the scenes progress.

It's not that bad for a quick read but my god that font is unreadable. The VN also needs a gallery.

Art is beautiful, girls are very hot, variety is great, so much scenes with good transition time, much love, great story. Scene repeater for specific girls would be nice. Looking for more games from this illustrator

Tamas Awakening is a fairly solid game, good for a quick playthrough.

The artwork is pretty good, but most of the animations are just 2 frames alternating with most of the body being pretty stiff. Pregnancy content is on the forefront, and there's a decent amount of content through various stages of pregnancy.

The story, characters, and dialogue are definitely the weak points of the game. There's a mind control aspect that has basically no rules (i.e. every time it's used, the effects are different - sometimes they become mindless zombies, other times they are lucid and just highly suggestible, and sometimes they just do what the player character tells them to) and is just a tool to fuck the family quickly. There's a little bit of lore throughout the game about the origin of the character's powers, but this plot point (the ONLY plot, really) goes largely unresolved by the end. All the characters are 1-dimensional, they basically get one personality trait at the beginning of the game and that's all (e.g. sister is a bitch, one cousin is religious, the Mom is...the Mom). They have no interests, hobbies, daily activities, etc. to speak of and once "corrupted" literally the only interactions are to have sex. Most of the dialogue is pretty stiff and repetitive. I appreciate the dirty talk, but 90% of it is just the same basic idea repeated four times in a row over and over.

Overall, a decent game worth checking out if you like pregnancy or the idea of sex slaves. If you are looking for a good story or interesting characters, there's nothing to find here. The game is also quite short for a completed 2D kinetic novel with 3-years of development, maybe 4-5 hours, at most, depending on reading speed.

I'd give it a 7/10 - rounded down to 3 stars because the default font is horrific and there's no in-game option to change it.

I mean sure a visual novel with linear story is cool and saves the "hustle" and the art is pretty good.
But I wished it to be just a bit more.

This is a completed game and I just didn't see my self enjoying the full content of it, I got bored by the linearity after few hours.

I hate having to rate this game so low. But sadly now it's "complete" I have to. The art is really good. There's not enough of redhead. The writing is terrible and the story is non existent. Just a series of things. As a series of porn images it's good, but even slightly reading some of the text during some of the sex scenes takes you out of it. Such a shame

Pretty good game. it has good art and a good story. I have been following this game for a long time. and I can tell the game improved significantly. I a more impressed that the developers delivered that much content on each update. others are nowhere near this. overall good game with incest, harem, and impregnation. good job developers. keep up the excellent work. will wait for the next game to release.

Pros: Decent art, average story.

Cons:

-Kinetic novel aka power point slide show, which is horrible for any harem game, you have no choice in choosing who you like, might as well not play it.
No idea, why people complain about it if they are still going to give it 5 stars. Way too many low quality VNs here with all the 5 stars floating around for meh products.

-UI is janky, despite it being having no real choice it still forces you to click around, as if you had a say in anything and it is not always obvious what it wants, which makes it an inferior kinetic novel imo.

A kinetic novel is so simple that it only has 2 things to worry about, ART and STORY and it is not amazing at either of those. It is already such a low bar so I can't give it any higher than 2 stars.

good effort, but with almost zero interactivity as the player and lots of text to read (in a very annoying font), i couldn't bring myself to play this for long. at least the cgi is pretty good. not my cup of tea.

actualy i dnt like kinetic novels... but art... so i took bait.
PRO:
- pretty good art
- no bugs(y, i know, hard to make some bugs in kinetic, but some other devs can do even that)
- readable story, i mean- no damn philosophy, science, literature and other ****. just acceptable story for porn game.
CONS:
- font and their size. i spend 20 seconds to fix that unreadable ***. dev, plz make option to change font to any readable, like sans... font size... its a joke about blind from mastrubation or something? 32-36 font size... even halfblinded can read 24 size.
- no animations. sad but true, 2-4 pics in cycle isnt animation.
- bad text/art ratio. y, i wanna more that art...

CONCLUSION : good kinetic novell for 30-40 mins in current development stage

This game will absolutely fill that misogynistic male domination itch. All the females become willing and subservient slaves that love being under an Alpha. You start with your family and slowly work your way out from there.

A must play if you're into incest, breeding a male domination. There are a variety of different female body types and characters and the sex scenes are plentiful and easy to access.

The initial story is quickly dropped in favour of an approach where dialogue is just there to setup the next sex scene which is fine, given the variety.

Loved the art, but the 2 frame animations are a distracting flashback to early 2000s flash animations that entirely ruined every sex scene once implemented. I would be able to accept the 2-render animations if they weren't just extremely slight variants of the same image, but they aren't. Every sex scene is you just watching the MC slightly move his hips forward a centimeter and back (or along that line). The animations haven't improved even this far into development, so I have to assume this quality is to stay.

The setting is absolute nonsense but I give that a pass due to it being a porn game, but I just can't give this more than a single star when the animations actually manage to be a downgrade from still image sex scenes.

Excellent Mind control story with great art and a big cast! The amount of content released with every update is something I wish other creators I supported in the past could learn from. If the next update is this good I will definitely support it.

I've floated back and forth between 3 and 5 stars on this game... First let's talk about what the game does right:

• Art: You saw it. Look at those bitches. They fine as fuck, right? Big ol titties, tiny frame girlies, oh yeah
• Sex Dialog: Man, if you're into incest, impregnation, male domination, and corruption, boyyyy do I have a game for you. We got all types of girls to start out (ranging from those who hate your guts to those who crush on you) being bent into all types of cumsluts (from those who are fucked up depraved to those who are in a lust-heavy love).
• Early game pacing: It's not too slow, it's not too fast, it's just right - A consistent trickle of H content slowly getting more and more kinky - WONDERFUL

What does the game do badly then?

• Animations/Sex imagery: The sex art actually gets decent at this towards the middle and end of this version, but in early game all the scenes are still images. You eventually get some crappy two-slide animation. Towards the end it looks like maybe 3 slide? But better drawn for movement... It's fine at the end but before then it kinda sucks
• Late game pacing: Towards the end of V0.14, all the girls I care about are knocked up. Yeah they could be further along but most are already showing baby bumps, meanwhile it feels like the "story" is just kicking off... Dude I am done with the game at V0.14. There is very little content dev could add that would be interesting to me. It feels like it's just going to be more of the same at this point. Had like a string of handjobs, more fucking my sister while she's talking about how much she likes being pregnant, etc, yeah it was cool but been there done that...

Anyways. I wanked three times to this so I can't complain too much. When I started playing I was going to rank this 3 stars. Then I read through a few H scenes and loved the kinkiness so was going to rank it 4 stars. Then the animation/sex imagery improved and I was going to "what the hell, 5 stars" routine it, but then the last part of the game feels repetitive; more of the same, and now it feels like 4 stars...

Regardless, I recommend it, just unconfident on how the project looks holistically long-term.

Yet the game was not perfect but somehow it was in a way. Have not played this kind of stuff since a long time but this gave me the old fun. Story, dialoguees, characters and etc etc overall perfect.

I just hope to see it just goes on the stories should never end, the neigbhors the local shops and seduce all.
