If something is released online, and not behind a paywall or DRM (and possibly even then if it was legally purchased without a limited license), then it's public domain. You have inflicted the violence of whatever you want to show me onto me, what I do with the bits I have been forced to download is my choice. All pretending otherwise has done was give Youtube the claws to butcher Limewire and the RCA simultaneously as the #1 music "theft" platform, while pocketing as much of the revenue as they can, instead of rewarding it to any "artists" or "authors" directly. Copyright simply does not work in a digital context, stop pretending it does.
The law is murky in so far as the totally opposed legal viewpoints regarding possession and receipt of electronic materials, and that of copyright and intellectual property, have not been forced to clash due to the cowardice of judges worldwide who literally refuse to cite them in tandem... If pushed into such a situation, I doubt intellectual property would prevail.

Just because it's a copy and you don't take the original away from the owner, doesn't mean it's not stealing. The person who made and uploaded it probably makes money off that. Be it by ads or donations or whatever and even if they didn't, it's still their property and their right to decide where to put it and they should have the ability to change who can see it at any point in time. You are not taking their original copy away from them, but you are reducing their income and possibly even making money off their work. What you are stealing is not their product, but their revenue and their exclusive right to decide what happens to their art.

Saying anything online is public domain is just an insult to any creator who shares their art and especially to those who want to make a living.

I would argue that what this game is selling you is the story and the images/gifs/vids are secondary to it.
So the original creator of images isnt exactly losing anything.

Very confused. Got to Cindy content by talking to Akira, but the whole conversation is about what she did last time when she's never appeared before...what's going on? That and it says she can't do anything to me this patch.

Yes the main bit is the story, but i think that for most players the pictures are still very important and thus a bit of the creators revenue should belong to the owner of those pictures. Either way the creator is scamming the owner of the pics out of the money that they would have to pay for the permission to use them.

I think your argument goes in the direction of fair use, which basically means altering the original thing to the point where it just becomes a part of the new creation. But in this case the pictures are left as is and just put into another context, so i don't think it applies.

I mean the images are there alongside the story/context.
If people wanted to see porn or just porn images there is other sites that offer that.
It could have been anyone and the effect would be the same.

You have to do the jimmy experiments first thing in the morning at the chem lab, and then loose the will power thing that come's after an few of them.
