Ren'Py - Abandoned - Teacher's Pets [v2.06.1] [irredeemable]

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v1.99995...

This is an extremely repetitive and grindy game... It used to include the Family Sex stuff but they changed the daughter to being an exchange student, yet it still plays out the same...

The visuals of some of the characters are average in quality, with some faces looking a bit doll like, almost fake looking... Some backdrops look unique and some look like re-used ones I've seen in lots of other erotic/adult VN/Games...

The script is pretty good, as I didn't run into too many spelling/grammar errors... The plot revolves around a male protagonist professor, who lives with his wife and an exchange student... He works at a local school... The game play is one you've seen a bunch of other times... The day is broken up into time segments, during weekdays he teaches and then selects an activity at the school (for which a random event might occur)... After school and on weekends he does what he wants...

There are lots of places to go, and depending on the time of day and location he might run into specific characters... The protagonist has to work up specific stats for each character, as well as work on his own depravity level (which is boosted by drinking liquor)... The order of events for certain characters is linear in nature, and depends on choices made... And because of the grindy nature of this game, expect to see and read a lot of repetitive things... It becomes so annoying after a while... And takes such a long time to get anywhere due to the random nature of some events...

Overall, this game has little in the way of story that is either meaningful, deep, and/or has substance... It is primarily a grindy porn fest... I played this once before about 3 months ago, and it has not gotten any better... It is still under development, so don't let the high version number fool you... Will I revisit this one? Nope, because the grind makes it very difficult to replay without going out of your mind...

As a long-time supporter of Teacher's Pets (actually the first adult game I sponsored on Patreon), I have a really hard time marking this game down to three stars.

Let's start with the positives: the storyline is engaging and sexy, the characters rendered extremely well, and the animations a great addition not usually found in most titles. As an adult game, Teacher's Pets sets a high bar that will keep you working toward the best in-game rewards and achievements.

That being said, the pace of Irredeemable's updating and content release is far, far slower than his peers. Dreams of Desire, Big Brother, Daughter for Dessert, and My Cute Cousin (along with others) produce content of equal quality in half the time.

Trust me: I understand the difficulty of high-end work. I want artists and creators to take the necessary time to make something they are proud to see. As of version 2.0, however, I cannot help but agree with many other patrons in saying Irredeemable (to a certain extent) strings his followers along without really delivering anything new.

TL;DR: follow Teacher's Pets, but don't sponsor it unless you've disposable cash and time to spare. Yes, Patreon hammered incest-content into the ground, but other titles were back on their feet and in-production months earlier.

This game started off pretty good some releases ago.
Unfortunately, since the Patreon issues this has totally changed. The creator removed almost all of the former "good" scenes and game mechanics, leading to incomplete choices where only 1 answer is left (not to mention they don't even make sense sometimes). In this state the game is totally ridiculous, let aside that the new "downgrade" patches took quite a long time to be released.
I can't recommend even downloading this. Total disappointment!
If i was a patreon I'd feel totally betrayed / ripped off...

Dual Family 2: Electric Boogaloo, there is virtually nothing in this game after months, get it once it's complete in 3 years when they guy stops abusing patreon.
- grind fest
- a shit ton of characters each with little to no content
- slow updates
- embarrassing dialogue that people here will lie to you that is funny
- expect content to be cut from the guy on the whim of patreon in future updates

Since the patreon changes, the developer has changed the game far too much from the original. It is not what it once was. Too much of it's original content was actually removed or changed.

It is my sincerest hope that this will change, and in time a way will be found to restore this game to it's original vision.

For now my review score stands at 2/10, but I will alter my review should things change for the better.

While the game has slightly above average content, it lacks in other departments. Story as far as I have played is a cliche. Almost the same line of story and gameplay as most other games here. Delivery of updates on time is terrible. The last update was around 3 months back. With so many newer games popping up with far better rendering and gameplay this game doesn't deserve more than 3 stars. Hope the game keeps on improving from this point on but until then this game is average at best. Lastly I would thank the developers involved in this game development for this game and hope they make this game more enjoyable for everyone.

Plenty of content. Believable characters (at least as far as possible for a game with mind control pills). And hot girls! What more could you want?

The game is a visual novel in Ren'py. You're a teacher; the game is split between weekdays at school, and evenings/weekends at home with your wife and daughter. Unusually for these games, you actually have a reasonably normal/healthy relationship with your wife, which is nice.

There's a built-in 'achievements' system, which basically lets you know how many scenes there are in the game, and lets you know when you've seen them all. Difficulty is low.

1.632 - Great graphics, except the upper lip (it is weird and ugly). Great story and MC image. However the game is totally unplayable without a walkthrough. You just cannot know what to do, no guidance at all, no quest line, etc.
So after grinding more than two hours I got 2 absolutely random scenes of having sex and watching movie and that's it. So if you hate walkthrous, you'll get more frustration than joy by trying to figure out what the author had in mind (if there was actually something, or just grind).

I wasn't so sure about this game at first, but i think i like it. The sex scenes are A1; best so far out of the games i have played so far. I'm new though. Actual animations wins over still photos. I look forward to any future updates and additions.

Perfect.. but slow storyline with Wife and sister.. (give us more erotica!!) Balance of this game is good. No errors when u start new game with new update.. but all it needs is better progress (more scenes.. ) etc

I'm pretty sure this is the first game on here that's kept my attention and interest long enough for me to play through all its current content in one sitting. Although there are only a few characters, they're all fleshed out enough to give them distinct personalities and unique interactions worth exploring. There isn't much actual content to the game, and the fact that that's hidden by its grindy mechanics are more than made up for by how little of it stands out for feeling like it isn't the quality of a finished product. I can't wait to see more

First time reviewing because i'm so taken with this game.
Full disclosure of bias; I have a thing for games with teacher/daughter/sister themes and this game does the first two of those very well.

I also really don't enjoy "mind control" games most of the time because of the lack of personality and the oh so important corruption aspect. For that reason i blew this game off for a while even though the art, theme and ratings were good. I'm glad i finally gave it a shot as the characters all have solid, consistent personalities. i was really sucked into the material and blew through my morning off exploring the game as thoroughly as i could without ever really realizing the time, i haven't had a game suck me in like that in ages.

honestly not too many pure fap opportunities at this point, really only three (wife sex, D. HJ and Cheer BJ) But the build up is fantastic and the potential is huge. can't wait for the rest of this thing

Teacher's Pets was one of those games that genuinely surprised me in a very good way.

From the look of the OP I wasn't expecting much. I was expecting your average mind control/corruption game with dumb women doing dumb shit but what I found was very different.

There are 2 routes for the women, the pill to control or an affection route which in itself puts it above your usual harem style game.

Then you have the women. All have their own different quirks and personalities and they are all very different and extremely well written.

The writing is one of it's strengths. I know some people don't care for story but this game has genuine humour that's worth reading just for that. From calling a kid and her dad cunts on the first day to being cock blocked by a toilet.

The biggest surprise was the animations. Animations in H games are hit and miss. Sometimes they look great and other times they are jumpy, messy cluster fucks. Here they are extremely well done and smooth.

All in all it's coming along really well and has had a great start. Things can only get better from here on out.

I personally think that it is a beautiful game with a very interesting story especially Meghan's story.

Every character has their personalities well set in stone.

There's a lot of diversity in the choices and lines you choose making it feel much more realistic.

It's HUD or heads-up display is quite dope like the game "big brother".

I can't wait to see where this game will lead the player to.
With so many girls in the game, there's a lot of ways this game can follow.

It's hard to find any weak spot in TP.

Models are great, characters are interesting, stats are not just for fun (like in many other games). Characters are real and, I would, say, their actions feel believable.

There are good laughs, funny movie references and - most importantly - game suck you in. You really feel like MC.

I've played lots of VN's and other adult titles through years, but this one will definitely be among the best of them.

Awesome graphics, nice plot, hilarious sarcastic humor. The depiction of the characters mouths could be improved and especially the game progress should be revised a bit - when I started cheating I didn't know if I had to put all character levels up to 100 or 500. I consider myself a patient gamer but here I could hardly see any progress. But those are marginal issues compared to the overall fun you have with this game.

This game unlike the majority of games out there brings something different to the table. For one it's animated and there's a multitude of characters with either seduction or romance whichever route you choose. The author is dedicated and engages with the community as a whole and not just his patrons. The game isn't stuck behind a pay wall and he releases it for free. I love the story and the jokes in the game and can't wait to see what happens next. This is my first review on F95 and that should say a lot for the game.

I enjoy the game and the pace of gameplay, it has enough grind to feel like you are getting rewarded for the effort, but not a long grind for no effort, a bit more content would be nice, but it is being developed still so one must have patience. Look forward to where this game goes, and what other content the dev adds.
