When I started to play the game some time last year before the patreon changes it was a decent game. Nothing too special, but not shabby either, but with the patreon problem and all the weird shenanigans surrounding the dev it got more and more unbelievable and the quality dropped noticably. There were quite a few bugs and even after intense (pre-(pre-(pre-(pre-(pre-alpha) testing there were still enough bugs in the game, some of them still game breaking. The dev and his henchmen always emphasized that he pretty much had to rebuild the whole game, but with all the recent bugs it doesn't really seem like a total rebuild, but more like a hasty and sloppy "I cut some content, patch things up and hope for the best" initiative.
I may change my review in the future, but for now 2* is the best I can give this game with all the delays, content (or rather lack of) and behavior of some of the dev's folks. I'm aware that he isn't directly responsible for things his goons do here like lying about wrong versions just to cover up the lack of content, but with his complete lack of communication it comes back to bite his ass.
TL;DR - Way more than overpromised, way more than underdelivered, even after the supposedly stable release of 2.0 many bugs are still present.
