On a lot of Ren'py games (not all but some) the text gets stuck like on the are you over 18 screen and the choose a name screen. Every time I hit enter or click to continue it just flikers on the text for frame and it doesn't continue It just stays on the same piece of text.

What games are these happening on? What OS are you on? Gotta be a little more specific for specific help. But just to start easy, seeing as a good number of people have had visual problems lately with Ren'py, trying hitting Shift+G and try the different renderers. See if that fixes the issues on said games and work from there.
