I appreciate all the advice, I will focus on fixing the bad things in the game before anything else.

First, if you really want to become a dev and you're too poor to afford a social media manager which will filter mean comments into nice sugary ones, you'll need to grow a spine. That's probably the most important part.
Read the review, it made some pretty good solid points, rather than being all sad about it and already plan to take a break, how about addressing those points? Reviews can be pretty solid references where to gather valuable feedback so that both your game and you as a dev can improve.
Some reviews break rules so you can report them if you care, whereas others can be simply false, went through that with my game some time ago, just ignore and move on.

As for itch.io, that's more due to lack of marketing. You can't just put your game on itch.io and watch it grow without taking any further action. It will grow at first, but it'll gradually drop until you get no more views (or barely any). It's normal and it's like that for everybody, unless they are super active and do some good marketing. That's assuming your tagging is solid.

Haven't played your game (and probably won't because it's not my cup of tea) but looking at the one review you have on it, it looks like he's complaining about it being too difficult. Nobody's going to complain that your porn game is too easy, some people will complain if you make it too hard for them to see lewd content. Them's be the ropes.

Anyway, that 1 star rating you have is the result of literally one person. You shouldn't dwell on it too much. I have never once looked at the star rating or read the reviews before deciding if a game was worth a download.
It's like trusting Yelp. The kinds of people that leave reviews are not representative of the people who play your game.

It seems that something is wrong, I just uploaded the game today, and I only have a rating of 1 star... Is it really necessary?
I'll not say that you have to fully discard negative comments, but you have to learn to discriminate between criticism and just hate venting. But...

I mean, I understand that my game isn't perfect, and that it's in development, and obviously lacking content, but does it really deserve 1 star?
Well, if what the guy said is true, I have to admit than perhaps it doesn't deserve a 1 star, but it don't deserve more than 2.
The difficulty balance is the most important point in the kind of game you want to make, and in yours it's clearly totally off. This make the game unplayable for most people, and therefore impossible to enjoy.
Like the game is only at its 0.2 version, he should probably have said it in the thread, and not as a review, but the criticism stand and is legit.

and I'm seriously asking this, I'm starting to think that maybe my game is absolute garbage.
It's not what he said, he even said good things regarding the CGs.
Your game have a flaw, he pointed it, now it's your job as creator to fix the issue and make you game better.

My game was forgotten and I quickly stopped receiving visits...
What isn't surprising if your game is mostly unplayable due to the wrong difficulty balance.
Do you really think that Call of Duty would be a major franchise if only luck would permit you to pass the first fights ?
This apply even more for adult games. People play them for their entertainment and lewd value, not for their challenge. You aren't facing hardcore gamers who want to prove the world how great they are at what stay a hobby, you are facing people who want to pleasantly fill a moment in their day.

[...] is it advisable to take a break for a few days and start another project that can be successful?
No, because if you do so people will remember your failure and don't even try your next game.
What you have to do is to works on the pointed issues.
Balance your fights for them to have a progressive difficulty and stay winnable ; ideally, for an adult game at least 90% of the players should be able to win without real difficulty.
And either speed-up the fight animations, make them interruptible, or offer a configuration option to not see them.
Do this, and that 1 star critic will not have anymore reason to exist.

I wish with all my heart to dedicate my time and effort to a game that people want to play, instead of putting effort into releasing updates for a game that only receives one star on the platforms.
Do you? Do you really?
I published it three months ago on itch.io and it didn't grow at all compared to the rest of new games that came out, AND THAT WERE VERY SIMILAR TO MINE, both in the visual aspect, as well as in the story and the genre...
Because this tells me that you don't really have all that much passion for making a game that people want to play, just one that gets a lot of views. If you really want to make a game that people want to play, then you should be asking yourself what you can do to make it stand out.

And, no, making your game super easy is not going to make it stand out.

there's a famous bit of writing advice: "when people tell you there's something wrong with your story, they're almost always right. but when they tell you how to fix it, they're always wrong."

learn the right lessons.

taking a look at your game: it's AI so everybody will hate it. that's just how it is and denial will never change it. so you need to accept that's gonna be a thing that's gonna be 90% of your feedback.

but looking at the previews I instantly saw that it looks kinda decent for AI as it lacks a lot of the usual problems like the posing. then I saw you wrote this: "Well... I don't know if this can help, but not everything is AI, I make the lineart by hand, and then I add color with stable diffusion, and I finish the last details by hand." which explains it. and for what it's worth, I think that's the only useful way to use AI. but I doubt most people will catch that, so they're just gonna lump you with all the other AI and 90% will hate it. that's just the reality.

other than that, it didn't seem like there's anything specifically wrong with your game. it has actual gameplay, which most of the AI garbage doesn't, and I can see you're actually trying to do something here. it's an actual game, and that alone is more than 99% games here can say.

excluding the expected AI hate in comments I didn't see much criticism otherwise. so actually you're getting kinda good reception. (didn't check the review because they're irrelevant either way).

it you made it in daz it would be fine. or even drew it in however bad your actual drawing is. I mean there's some REALLY badly drawn stuff here, and people still like it when the rest is okay. and one of the biggest cash cows ever, summertime saga, is pretty badly drawn as well. so it's in no way unthinkable to make a game with bad art, it's not the deal breaker comments often make it seem like.

There is nothing that I, or anyone else can add to the discussion regarding the review. Everyone has already said everything that needs to be said. HOWEVER, this comment is extremely concerning. A fragile ego is one thing, I've seen multiple devs struggle due to their ego and I've seen some overcome it in their own way. But, suggesting to give up on their first game because of ONE negative review? Especially one that is actually constructive? holy shit dude...

On another, potentially less aggressive note, your game is something that I would generally be interested in. I actually noticed it fairly recently, but ultimately decided not to try it yet. I hadn't even noticed the review until now. Here's why:

However, with all of this said, I may have picked up the game sometime in the future. However, this post has left a sour taste in my mouth and anytime I see your game I will likely associate it with this post. So, congrats I guess?
