Sci-fi might have been my favourite challenge yet. But it’s time to move on. I’ve been trying to think of a clever or meaningful title for the next challenge but inspiration hasn’t struck. The next theme is about music related subcultures. Punk, emo, mod, rockabilly, hip hop, new romantic, glam rock, metalhead, grunge, rock chicks, k-pop, goth. Especially, I have a feeling, goth. Pictures of hot women (and goblins) whose musical taste and fashion style defines who they are and becomes their identity. Bring on the sexy goths (and the rest)

New challenge: Musical Subcultures

I think the New Romantic scene spread well beyond the UK. For those who've never heard of it and will think the following images weird here's a very quick overview. Originating in the late 1970's it took inspiration from David Bowie, Marc Bolan and Roxy Music. The New Romantics developed fashions inspired by the glam rock era coupled with the early Romantic period of the late 18th and early 19th century. Among the most famous music acts identified with the New Romantic movement (whether they liked it or not) were Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Steve Strange of Visage, Boy George of Culture Club and Adam and the Ants.

Uhh how good these are!!! The Adam and the Ants girl is good, but the female version of David Bowie is just perfect. I would love to see a Duran Duran Wild Boys music video inspired girl!
