I really like this lora so I made some of the Loud House characters

I didn't get to see either Andor or Bad Batch so I will take your word for them being good.
Anything High Republic automatically gets a hard pass from me.
In fact nearly anything that Kathleen Kennedy has any thing to do with is a hard pass normally.
She attempted to single handed destroy the franchise with her woke bullshit

I watched The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi in theaters. The Force Awakens was O.K and The Last Jedi was boring as hell, like that casino scene. I almost fell asleep. The Rise of Skywalker.. I'm not even gonna comment on that one.. I wish I could erase it from my memory. Sorry for going off topic here on this thread btw, lol!

But new Star Wars is Sci-fi and for adults, original Star Wars is Fantasy and for families and children. I prefer the Fantasy for families and children. Even though some of the new stuff is enjoyable (Mandalorian and Rogue One are fun, I wouldn't call them good by any means but I enjoyed them a lot and isn't that enough? Not everything has to be Shakespeare). Everyone says Andor is good but to be honest I'm tapped out on Star Wars for now, kinda like Marvel. Again, no shade to New Star Wars, it just isn't Star Wars anymore.

For me, though, with Lord of the Rings I can just ignore the new stuff and go back to the original films and (more importantly) the books. For Star Wars, it's hard to do that... The new stuff exists and retcons and officially changes all that old stuff, even though you can argue that it could be taken on its own. Kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth, like all the young youtubers who prefer the prequels to the original 4-6, because they have better fights (objectively true, but stunts alone don't make stuff better). And yeah, the cast for Disney Star Wars is so good, so I'm not hating on them. Let's not forget that the prequels made even Natalie Portman look like a bad actress, and she's super good.
