I remember playing the original for a bit and feeling like I needed a walkthrough. At the very least can anyone tell me what the different endings to the game are?

yea there are a few depending on your choices who you gonna save etc . also watch out for corruption . as fun as it is (more options) its also game over .

make sure to save so you can "probe" the choices , from what i remember finishing the game gives you " cheat " option - full stats so you get even more options . so what you can do is complete the game quickly select full stats and save and always start from there .

try to solve the mystery and read read read ... its all about the story (on the spoiler side : there are no good endings as far as i remember )

Here is a "list" I found for the original:

Endings that appear before the final stretch of the game:
There is a high taint ending.
There are three high Mutation endings depending on your level of taint.
There is a madness ending.
There's an ending where you take a shotgun blast to the chest.
There is a prostitute ending. (Once you're full female, slut about the tavern a bit.)
And a bad end for losing to the tentacle monster in the ruins more than 3 times.
Endgame endings:
There are at least three endings depending on your actions during the game. One of those has strong ties to the Morichi family, the other two are subject to other story progression.

New game + ending:
If you start the game over, you should be offered a new option at the end of the intro which will lead you to a new ending.

there are no "win" endings but the endings are interesting and fitting the story.

Yeah, I remember hitting most of them, one of the things I remember not being sure about was how to finish reading the book, since if I recall even if you read it every day you still lack one day before it gets stolen from you.

I can't seem to find the cheat menu that was in the original. Maybe it was moved to the more limited one in the settings menu?

I have always enjoyed the concept of this game. I hate the inevitable Bad End. I understand it is Lovecraftian, but even a neutral end, as in trapped, but if there ever was one, I could never find it.
