The "Also ignore threads which contain these tags" feature doesn't work

I keep clicking on this message after clicking "Ignore thread" to avoid a certain tag that I don't want to see but this feature just doesn't seem to work at all for me. Am I using it incorrectly somehow?

Thanks, I'm aware of this but the filters don't get saved into the big "Latest Updates" button at the center. I have to create and use a new bookmark for this to work.
I like the idea of making a tag disappear and this seems to aim to be the solution for that. But I don't know if even the admins here are aware that this featre is not working right now.
