The Basement

The Basement is a BSDM slave trainer game.

Intro

I'm a long time fan of porn games. I've played a lot of them.. er.. for "research" purposes of course.

This is my first attempt at making a NSFW game, although, I've been making regular games for a long time. My main skill is coding but for the last few years I've been skilling up in art and 3D modelling and other stuff.

Honestly, this first game is an experiment to see what I can come up with. I do know one thing, it's not going to be a regular visual novel. Don't fret though, it will still be playable one handed, at least during the fap material.

I also know what I like, I'll be taking inspiration from my favourite BDSM slave trainer games and creating something new and interesting.

Right now I'm just getting the first character rigged and animated. She still needs a name. Thoughts?

I've been thinking about this a lot. The thing is, most of the live 3d NSFW games I've played aren't very good. House Party might be one of the exceptions (before they took out some of the better content). Slaves of Rome is another one with potential but tbh I think it's a bit ambitious for a single dev. I also didn't mind A Tale of Forgotten lives until it got boring (it also felt a bit unfinished).

It's not that live 3d can't be done well. But I think one of the reasons Ren'Py games work is because of the simple single click controls. You can play them one handed... which is important. Unity brings a lot to the table though, so even with limited controls there's a lot that can be done well with the animation side of things.

The Basement is intended to be a smallish game since it's my first NSFW game. I'm keeping the scope small so I can focus on the stuff that matters (the fap material) and actually finish the game. That said, I do have ideas for a larger game in the future and the work I'm doing now is building the foundations for the next one.
