not all of animation sucks
besides isn't it better than just images ?
I prefer images, the short loops are unnatural, they look shit, plus it tends to be unskippable so it takes control away from the player which is the bigger issue. It's super annoying if you cant cancel the animation in rpgm titles.

All the webms people want to watch are sfm stuff that are 10 seconds to minutes long with sound. Compare that to what we get in games and the games look like fucking trash. Now if you implemented long animations with sound, with video controls then it could be good, however the devs don't do that excluding stolen live action porn clips in some russian qsp titles. Just stick to images.

I tend to agree with this. Though I often don't mind a lot of the short stop motion style anims we often end up getting. They certainly aren't my preference, but I can usually appreciate them as long as they aren't too terrible. Mythic Manor is an example of game that just barely skirts by with their animations, at least with the older content. They've really improve a fair bit with the newest animations added in the last release.

But ya, the bulk of the best 3D sex animations tend to come from those using SFM. Though often the best animators among those eventually start picking up much more powerful tools like Blender. Strangely enough though, there are also several really decent animators who manage to get good results with TK17, but I can only imagine they must be rather masochistic to pull that off, lol.

Not if in the end the animation shows only one angle of view of a single position and even more if we can not advance when we do not like.

But to answer the subject I find that the animations in milfycity are well made for a start of the game, to see if there will be evolution or not.

And I would add that some game with honey select models can offer interesting things.

To answer the OP, the animations from Something Unlimited, to be more precise the full animations for Lois and Mercy, no the flip-book animations of the other.

But overall, I think animations are a waste of resources unless the artist is more gifted than the average modern developer.

I prefer well posed images to quick choppy animations. I don't mind adding in a few animations to a longer sex scene, like you might see if you play the most recent release of Game Legends, where we put some short, 6 frame looping animations in to kinda spice things up a bit, but these animations were a part of what was still a 60+ render scene. Milfy City has amazing animations, and they're definitely enjoyable, but as I'm often telling the shinies in Game Suggestions, Milfy City isn't an accurate measure. The Animations in Depraved Awakening are fine, but here we have an example of what is already great posing being paired with animations. The animations in Parental Love, however, kinda left me wanting more. A position change, a few more frames to give some greater sense of passion, something, could have helped a lot, and I really fucking like that game, so I'm not just shitting on it.

I think, in the end, animation is far too much work for far too little payoff unless you have a really good renderbox and the skill to set up great skeletal systems and make the animations the right way. Most Daz users are simply rendering a sequence of frames in just micro movements away from where they start the pose initially, and looping this to create animation. It's quick and dirty, and it works, but it's not ideal, and I definitely feel cheated if the animations end up giving me less to look at than a game like Big Brother, which had no animations, poor posing, shit angles, and very few renders to it's scenes.

Yes, in the pictures of big brother you always had the feeling Dark Silver is afraid of vaginas. With the fan mods and cheats around the grind to escape, it is slowly playable.

Solvalley School has tons of fully animated sex scenes using Honey Select. The developer has gotten really good at it.

Animations with Honey Select are fun to watch now and then, but they are cartoon-ish and weird, you can't consider them as "best" at anything.
Milfy City is also great, almost perfect animations. Together with Willy D, they are in a league of their own.

So for DAZ there is one i've seen and I must say whoever did BethanyS02_wholescene that is pretty damn good.

Another reason that you see a lot of short animations is that animated scenes can really hike up your upload size and take a lot longer to set up and render than a static render.

So I don't mind short animations if they are used to good effect, but if overdone/repeated over and over, yeah they can be annoying.

Daz can do decent animations, and I've seen a few, but most people just set up a handful of keyframes and call it a day. Which is why you often see body parts embedding in each other in some animations. It takes additional time to adjust the 'in between' frames to fix these issues, so it often comes down to how much time someone wants to put into a single element of a scene versus moving on to work on other stuff for their game.

I'm sure that there are other animation programs that are a bit more user friendly, but Daz can get good results too, IF you are willing to invest the extra time to make it look good.

There are some pretty decent animated sex scenes featuring characters from various AAA titles on Pornhub and such, as well as a number of 'glued together' sequences of shorter animations, but the longer efforts (not the pasted together ones) are basically animated movies, not games. I'm guessing that they didn't use Daz to animate the longer ones though.
