I guess there's a fine line between emansipation and corruption.

I mean I do see how a story of emansipation could have almost identical form to corruption. like some outside well-meaning educator enabling the liberation. I guess that's what the people falling for cults think they're getting into, only to eventually find out they've become fucktoys for the cult leader.

NEXIVM comes to mind right away. they sold the idea of personal growth in self-actualization seminars, and the women ended up into a system of slave girl fucktoys branding new girls with the cult leader's initials. like he had this whole system set up where hot women had the job of gathering new hot recruits, entangling them to blackmail through 'trust exercises', and passing them up to next level of indoctrinated slave girls to be branded. and he was just sitting up there at the top fucking them while the members did all the dirty work.

it's also a great example how in real life people get blackmailed to sex through FAR weaker leverage than in porn games which some people think are unrealistic.

I personally like games where corruption is optional. Take for instance Prince Maker 2. The girl can turn out to be a queen or a whore depending on your choices. Progression is also pretty good in the sense that it takes place over a long period of time and that it is combined with a variety of other activities to keep you busy. Barely any NSFW content, though (unless you get the patch, that is).

fun fact, stockholm syndrome isn't real. It was made up whole cloth when the hostages unsuprisingly preffered the rather nice bank robbers to the Swedish PM who wanted the cops to shoot the thieves even if it meant the cops shot them as well because a bank robbery looked bad politically

edit: Most of the time when it's claimed it's just that whoever was holding them hostage or whatever was a chill person, and honestly if someone robs a bank you don't lose money only the bank does, and who likes the bank anyway

My controversial opinion is, while I quite like corruption, I hate the personality change/degredation and mind control stuff. In my mind when I think of corruption it's about a deeply reppressed person becoming their true self, leaving behind the rules of society and what not to become who you truly are and do what you want to do, with the corruption being a good thing that improves their life, which can be tricky since it seems like so much corruption stuff is just "manly man does mind control for sex" or "ego death to make a person just worse" both of which I find really gross

9/10ths of mind control content handle it poorly and just use it as dub con with extra steps. Of course most hypnosis content is done poorly anyways. If it's not a slow-burn plot it's just not that enjoyable.

Stockholm Syndrome is real but it's usually invoked to the benefit of people who don't want to admit that the reason their loved ones and friends would pick the perp over themselves is because they're crappy people.

Plus saying the victim sympathizes with the person who victimizes them has the effect of softening what was even done.

When it comes to corruption for me it's about possession or "ownership", jealously corrupting a girl towards your tastes, the ol' "making her pussy remember the shape of your cock" thing.

When it comes to impregnation I want my protagonist to be the one doing it ideally.

If that isn't the case for story reasons, etc then having a complete stranger to her being able to impregnate her is hot from a psychological standpoint, the idea of a fully conscious girl having a baby with a man she doesn't even know is sexy and I would like to see her tortured by the fact that she's carrying around someone's baby with the father's identity only being known by me. After that I could treat her like the slut she is and when needed press her on it, that could be used as a learning experience to train her body and mind to work in a soapland where she services random men, wearing down her sense of morality and shame.

I like it when she has disdain or even near hatred towards a character but can't help but feel it when having sex with him, the character can't be a piece of shit delinquent however or some scumbag. I do like abuse of power and opportunism, for example a businessman takes over her father's factory "helping" to finance it with "very favourable terms", then behind her father's back in an act of ultimate betrayal she's an unspoken part of that bargain, the businessman may even be close friends with the father and go golfing together for additional bonus points.

I like underhanded options masked with a veneer of honourable intention, blackmail where you "just want to help".

No drugs or drunkenness, she must be fully conscious of everything that's happening to her and fight it, no mind break at all, she's got to feel it all down to her very soul. If she happens to become yours after it all then that's fair but having a broken doll is no fun for anyone, it's extremely dissatisfying! The knowledge that she's been broken makes all my feelings null-and-void if I'm honest and my interest evaporates.
