VN - Ren'Py - The Big Step [v0.8] [Partedes]

One of my most favorite games, lots of content, Renders are top notch. We need more of Sam's Adventures. And keep her innocent and yet we need all the scenes. Like the same way she is now. Kudos to the Developer for the render and the model. She even looks innocent. while the other looks mean,. Excellent selection of models in the first place.

This VN is great and deserves a 5-stars. The writing and narrative are awesome, I mean ...the characters are so well-written that almost every scene feels rewarding. The sense of humor is good as well. The corruption build-up is really well done which makes sex scenes extremely hot.

That being said ...there are a few flaws I can think of:
1) It urgently needs a gallery.
2) Animations are a bit clumsy.
3) To be honest there are no real choices that impact the character development (not that it isn't great already) mostly all the choices in the game are made to let players decide if they want to see certain scenes or not (except for one)
4) And finally (spoiler alert) I like my girl to be a bit slutty with the dudes I choose ...so Man Please Don't give me fucking unavoidable Bukkakes with strangers... that kind of pissed me off to be honest, or at least give me the option to avoid that and It's the same with the fucking Bus scenes,
By the way, the fact that that pissed me off is actually testament of how good the writing was xD.
So overall I'd give it an 8.5/10, looking forward to new updates! I highly recommend checking this one out.

What an amazing game. Right up my alley. The artwork is perfect and the story is really good. Perversion and corruption are so well done. Binged the whole thing over 2 days. Now I need more!!! I really can't wait for another update. I was sad when the end game screen came up.

Its a Fun story, the characters are cute and the situatiuons they get into, while they are familar/common to porn game plots like this, are well written and hot. I enjoyed it a lot, and will be watching for future updates

Wow! An amazing corruption/humiliation/blackmail/female protag game.
So many good scenes! The developer is also a machine. They make a ton of content and are consistent about it. I played their other game and it came out of nowhere. Huge amount of quality content.
Other developers promise the world and lead you on for cash, this guy just produces without a fuss.

I'd played to an early build of the game (maybe the 0.2) and didn't not think must of it, but as I just finished a long and heavy AVN I needed a quick story to change my mind and The Big Step is perfect in this regard.

Don't hope for ground breaking story telling (it's quit the opposite), but if you're into the tag of the game everything in very nicely done.

It's just confort food for your D. But damn it's good.

Easy 5 out of 5 stars. Even 6 out of 5 stars.

Partedes creates games on a different level! Idk if there's anything like these games.
It's corruption fantasy. More so than most corruption games.
This is completely deranged corruption, and I love it.

The models are hot, and the pacing is great. They're not as slow burn as a lot of other games, and yet there's progression with each release.
The games (I'm thinking about this one and "It's not a World for Alyssa") have these incredibly implausible plotlines. The girls are impressively dumb, and are being convinced into sexual situations by the silliest of arguments. They're more naive than humanly possible in a quite hilarious and exciting way. They're not games that take themselves seriously, and thus the developers allow their creativity to go wild. I love it.

And also, there's overlap between this game and the prequel. That's a nice touch.

And also also.... the updates seems to release regularly and are substantial. I don't know how Partedes does it, but they should be respected for it.

I vote the game 5/5 because:

1. Cheating is not entirely cheating, cheating is not a fetish here.
2. I can understand more the perspective of other characters instead just one or two protagonist.

One thing I only complain is that the 'beginning' is too long without any choices, I hope there is more choices in the future.

Lesbian is too dramatic for me and I hope it is completely avoidable in the future update.

The game has very great potential.

Just my taste, I hope the game give me the kinks:

1. Gangbang
2. Pregnant Sex
3. Pregnant without knowing who is the father due to the gangbang

Fuck yes! It's too hard to type this with just my left hand. I wasn't so sure about it during the first couple of chapters, but once the ball started rolling it captured my interest 100%. I can't stand the Savannah Rose character, but that's the way it's supposed to be. I just can't wait to see how things progress for MC with the various continuing scenarios that are building. Congrats to Partedes, and thank you.

Missing some key turnoff fetishes. Forced interactions. Not really sure the point of some of the decisions since you can't avoid some characters.
Art is decent tho, but if you're not into some stuff in this game which isn't tagged, it is really bad. Every girl is a whore, and every guy fucks every girl just about. Not really much of a story to this thing, just for the fetish renders really.

Really good. Protag is a moron for someone so smart but that’s not what makes this VN/game good. What’s good is that there’s choices, great character models, perversion and a little bit for almost every taste

This VN desperately needs a plot and better writing in general to be better

- No plot, like at all. Slice of life in a porn movie
- Every single man wants to fuck you. In any place you appeared. Someone even wants to drug you before it
- kinetic novel, no choices
- Sandbox that is not sandbox. There are a pseudo repetitive scenes
- Petite redhead with a glasses is Dexter

Conclusion:
So, from my point of view any good VN = gameplay = Visuals + Writing
There is no writing in this VN, thus I substructed writing score from my rating

Not gonna lie, I’m not dropping this yet, but Alyssa was way more fun and spicy, tbh. Characters here just don’t hit the same. Alyssa’s body was pure perfection (those boobs were art, man), while the new girl feels like some default mid-VN giga-boobs template. Side chars? Meh, average at best. Almost no blackmail or dark spicy stuff anymore — only Alexandra’s route has a bit of that, but even she just found a sugar daddy and started to enjoy it lol. Feels like a totally different game with a different vibe. I was hoping for the same atmosphere Alyssa had, with the same kind of beautiful models, but nah… guess that’s on me.

Each update of TBS feels less and less entertaining. We’ll see where it goes, but honestly — tribute to Alyssa: one of the best games, and one of the best character models ever.

Rating: 3★ +1★ as an investment in the dev — because I know he/she can pull off something really cool, and I hope he/she will in the future.

This game truly deserves attention. The story follows the process of corruption and disinhibition of the female protagonist at a steady pace — a pace that feels right, unlike other games where, after far too many years of development, the heroine still hasn’t spread her legs even as a joke (any reference is purely coincidental). The consistency and speed of the updates are genuinely impressive. They not only add value to the game itself but also prove that the developer is more focused on advancing the project than on dragging things out just to milk supporters over time. Excellent work — let’s hope it keeps going this way.

Well, it started out promising but very quickly turned into your typical insta-corruption game. I’ll give it some credit for having different character designs, and the renders are decent too. But what I really didn’t like is how the choices feel completely random or don’t matter at all. You can literally brush off a character multiple times and still get forced into scenes with them — so why even bother with choices in the first place? In the end, it’s basically a very linear story where choices mostly just unlock a few extra scenes.

Amazing and fun storyline. Great updates. Worth the time. Several lead charaters with storylines nicely interwoven. Looking forward to more updates. Females taken to places they didn't expect. Sometimes random, but still fun

Definitely one of my top 10 avns! Good quality scenes along with a good story. Updates are common and that huge plus. You won't be disappointed with these super opened minded chicks. Awesome music too! Radiohead! Nirvana ! Huey Lewis and the News!

(Review of v0.6)

This is a novella about a girl discovering her sexuality while attending school and working at a pizzeria. She's almost constantly surrounded by pervs and sometimes it will be up to us to decide what she will do, but our choice won't always be available or be even possible depending on previous decisions.

I do like the main girl and even Alexandra, who we get to know as the perfect snob until something happens that brings her to reality the hard way.

Certain events are staged with very known tunes, most likely not licenced but I'm certainly not telling anyone... Some of those are the best moments in the whole game so far. The situations are kind of whacky at times and the writing gets a bit in the way as the girl tries to rationalize what she does or does not do. Still, the story is quite enjoyable and manages to keep you interested.

The cons here come mostly from the animation department and some facial expressions that are simply weird, with faces that could have been drafted by a little kid. I suppose the developer tried to be funny, and it does work some times, it's only that it sucks more often than not.

Animations are mostly the 2-frame kind. Some have more frames but are equally poor and unfulfilling, I mean "why waste time with this crap"-grade quality. Sex scenes still manage to be quite hot thanks to the nice models (except Emma, I suppose) if you look the other way when you see an exceedingly protruding crotch or some other mishap here and there.

Anyway, despite its technical shortcomings I do recommend the game for the sheer beauty of the MC and the weird situations she gets into.

TL;DR
Overrated. Okay renders. Ugly facial expressions. Meh story. Bad H-scenes.

Story 2/5
This game caught my eye with what looked like an unusual take on the typical FMC story. I'm not a big fan of "shy-bombshell-in-slutty-clothes" games — they tend to be predictable and boring. In the beginning, the FMC behaved unusually for the typical setup of this kind of game; there were pretty interesting characters and it was intriguing to see where the plot would go. But somewhere around 20% of the current content (v0.5) everything flipped 180° — the game turned into yet another typical slop; all characters became horny teenagers. Writing is okay. Choices have no impact on the story and are just yes/no prompts for sex scenes with a character.

Visual 2/5
Renders are not bad, but awful facial expressions ruin them. Faces look like they're straight out of Garry's Mod with those overstretched smiles. There are only two real animations; all others are just slideshows of a few frames.

H-scenes 2/5
They're simply not sexy enough. Scenes are too short, with no buildup in most cases; narration is not bad but doesn't have enough time. Visually the scenes are okay — if you are not that interested in the novel/visual-novel part you may like them. Too many ugly bastards — they make up about 60% of the cast.
