I just tested the trial, too, looked at the files of both the trial and the full version, and I can't find any evidence of a script to speed up movement while pressing the A button.

Could it be you mean the debug help script from the Ace editor?
If you playtest any game using the official Ace editor you have the option to speed up every action in the game by holding "A" to help you debug without having to sit through everything at normal speed. That would just be the editor and not actually part of the game.
