Ren'Py - Completed - The Church of Vice [v1.0 VIP] [Drakus]

As a big fan of age-gap corruption games, I had to try this one, despite the reviews.

The corruption story is nice, but the gameplay is awful... It's an inhuman amount of clicks and grind with repeatable scenes. So, after a few hours getting a grip of the story and the corruption progression, I decided to stop playing and switch to the CG rip.

    Rating: 5/10

I think it's a good game, thanks to the corruption system, yes, you'll have to spend a lot of time to complete the game, but I personally enjoyed it. Beautiful, pretty, heroine; you can intuitively complete the game and in general, there is an understanding of what the game wants from you if you read the dialogues. Special thanks to the author for the Russian language

I love the idea and the scenes, but the grind to actually getting to those scenes isn't always worth it. Also, I would like to be able to replay certain scenes and as far as I can tell that isn't possible.

The setting is fun and the plot is engaging enough that I want to see what's next.

My main reason for 3 stars is the unnecessarily large number of clicks required for simple actions.

For example: why is the skip time button only in her room( except for the short time in church). There are scenes in the morning in the church sometimes.

But for these scenes which rarely happen I have to: (Click flow)
    Click Living Room>Map>Church>Map>Bedroom>Skip time.

The issue for the above sequence is after skip time I have to navigate back to church for the next actions nearly everytime. A skip icon at the church or just permanently on top would make this far easier and less grindy than it needs to be. (If possible a home icon at top which takes player directly back to bedroom would be awesome too.)

Overall a good game with an acceptable plot for a porn game but the experience is brought down by the cumberome mechanics.

Yes, there's a lot wrong with the game. Gameplay is pure grind (a bit like Glamour but not nearly as bad). The English is not really good, BUT what can I say, it's also fun to progress. The FP's innocence is funny and the corruption is slow and well done mostly.

If you don't mind the grind, it's well worth your time.

Yep, I would subscribe to Cauldrons review 100%.
This game has a nice premise, but the execution of it all is really bad.
You´re basically wasting one, one and a half hours on just clicking and repeating the same tasks all over again.
I had to cheat corruption points, because it got so boring to continue the same stuff.
The "most interesting" things you see, is her giving a Handjob to guys, her getting "fingered" by her uncle, and this version ends with a Blowjob, where you have to choose between the uncle and the creepy Donor.
The renders are pretty decent but the animations are pretty boring, without any close-ups.
Street events where you collect money, by giving randos handjobs are missing cumshots.
You waste your time by rinse and repeating the same stuff, but you don´t feel like you get ahead.
There´s so much bloat that should be removed and more variety be added.
The current version is just not worth the time and I can´t recommend it.

A game where you have to corrupt an innocent nun and turn her into a nymphomaniac slut? I'm 100% for it!
On the other hand, if the concept is good (from my perverted point of view...) don't forget the game aspect. This game is overly grindy and offers no real choice. Either she stays pure and it's boring as hell, or she lets herself be slowly corrupted after dozens of clicks on sequences that are always the same, sometimes to witness a little scene without much erotic interest. I confess I didn't go all the way with this version, my patience running out when the main character reached 5 points of corruption (out of 100) after more than one hour of click-click-click.
The idea is good, and there's certainly enough here to make a good game, but the author just needs to put himself in the shoes of players who just want to have a good time with a fantasy, and not take part in an endurance contest.
