The game is very fun at the start - it gives you lots of new content and mechanics, but they soon turn into a repetitive and boring loop, as there is no clear indication of how to proceed later on, which results in just randomly clicking and doing things, hoping that something new will happen.

It also seems to lack a way to develop characters without drugging them; there is no corruption in the real sense: you're just drugging people and turning them into sluts, so all interactions are basically date-rape.

Or at least it seemed that way to me. Maybe there's some convoluted mechanic to unlock other types of content, but I was unable to find it.

And on the topic of drugs, that mechanic isn't properly developed: you have a few stages with each character where you get to pick some options, but there's no way to change nor reverse them.

What's the point of having a brainwashing drug when you can only use it a few times and then be unable to use it ever again. Might as well replace that mechanic with magic or whatever.

My recommendation would be to play it for a bit -until you complete the corruption of your sister (and your mother if you like her - I didn't like that model selection) and stop there.

I'd also suggest cheating the chemicals to craft the serums, as there is no reason for that mechanic other than inflating the game's length through an unnecessary grind.

There are very few scenes for each event, so once you've seem them once, you won't be getting anything new until you unlock a different stage. After a while they get so tedious that you wish there was a way to remove them.

Overall, a good concept that seems to have lost track quickly after the first few updates.

My brother in christ, what in the world is that?

The game is way too simple in mechanics and design and the scenes are not that well written!

The only good part of this game is the corruption through the chemical potions or whatever.

No minigame, no interesting concept, just words and boxes.

Is this really the best that HTML has to offer?

Well, to start with, all the recent reviews are (to my surprise) true. I had played this game long ago before the training focus, and at the time it looked promising (maybe a 4/5). The corruption mechanism has branching paths, and the pimping is really nice, as these games sometimes have lack of it (either they are NTR or Harem). This has been completely abandoned and changed for an even more raw training management focus, which makes the game a 3/5. The corruption was good but lacking development, and the training is bad. For the corruption part of the game, you can expect a v0.3 level of content, and the training I would say around v0.1-v0.2. This means that in the last 5 years the developer has made almost nothing, is a dead game (or 2 actually) with updates that seems out of focus. In the positive side, I think having training/slave management and serum corruption goes hand in hand.

My advice would be to further develop the corruption/love and events with characters, make more paths, and then continue with the training part. The game jumps wild, from being super hot in the corruption tranche (ch.1-ch.3) to nothing in the training tranche (ch.4).

    ShamusForSmut

Shambling through smut alley I happen upon a tale as old as time, hoping that it may have some meaningful end, I instead find that it still goes on and on and on. Much like my reviews.

Speaking of, I've been wanting to touch up on this title ever since I've been writing these reviews out, oh, nearly five years ago? It was one of the first games that popped into my mind all those years ago, and at the time it felt like it was really coming into form. This game has a reputation of being one of the ancients, and in being the ancients it’s something you expect to pop up on the feed every now and then. Since then I’ve seen maybe close to five real-porn smut games come and even sometimes actually release to the holy 1.0 that feel leagues ahead of the era the game’s stuck in. And that will essentially be my bias throughout the review that you can keep in mind, as I pretty much share it with the many other reviews realizing that this game hasn't changed all that much, in as much as it wants to change constantly.

So what is the Company? This in itself is one of the major contentions that comes with the game, as the Company itself had started out as an idea springing up from an older title that went by the wayside. Taking their very very similar premise they ran wild with it before, well, eventually coming to the same point that killed their predecessor. It's going nowhere, or more so it's going as fast as a car spinning it's own tires while the brake handle's cranked all the way back family-style.

The Company started out, and still somewhat adheres to their premise of being a corruption game. You start out as a self insert he/she/trans character that invents the golden formula of a hypno sex drug for your senior year project at Uni before being noticed by corpos wanting a piece of the creampie. Going by the titular name The Company you are soon recruited by them to run wild at their personal labs in further upgrading, refining and specializing your golden serum, while spreading out said love to your coworkers, household and at times quest-specific characters all by your own means in figuring out which direction you want to steer them to.

What that essentially steers itself towards is that the further you progress through the main story the more you get to further refine your original serum (if you’re running w/o cheats that you’ll eventually default to on top of utilizing the freeplay mode). You can then dose all those around you (namely in secret) in pushing them to be more openly sexual, and also influencing them to either be more dominant, submissive or loving depending on what route you have available to them. This in itself diverges in allowing a multitude of paths for certain characters that go beyond just the latter, such as suggestive actions they can do daily, what they want to do with you and what they can potentially do with other characters. It's not just be more dom/sub as by looking at the pathways available on the main f95 page, you can see that with Ava alone (actually just Ava hint hint) there's a lot of flavor. Mostly. Well get to this later on in the review.

The above in itself has gone through multiple variations throughout the near decade this game is climbing towards. The above should've been the golden goose formula of where the Company started, ended and at the very least boiled down to as a focus.

But that's just not the case, being here for so many years shows that both the premise and the promise of this game, corruption, is really not there. At least not in the capacity many thought it would be. The Company seems to be joining the many where it just loses focus on what you remember it being the further the version numbers tick, considering that despite me originally stating that I wanted to write a review on this years ago, the game development time has stretched far beyond that in itself. This game has been spinning it's tires since 2017 (patreon-wise that is), and it is now the year of our lord 2023. A whole six years of this somehow still feeling as though it's stuck somewhere in the middle of what it wants to be.

The problem with the Company (in me also joining the many other reviews here) is that, systems come in, systems get taken out, code gets written, rewritten, reworked, and/or tossed out. This game feels like scope bloat constantly that can hide itself real well to many newcomers. Going through blurred memories, this game at one point had a sex "battle" system in which choices in banging would up a pleasure bar for both parties, there used to be actions that pushed the envelope beyond what your serum did (ie sexual actions you can force before you dosed appropriately, not my type of thing but it was around), and of course the ever-ethereal debate on 2d artwork vs real porn that never seems to come around (until now, I guess maybe, they've aborted it once before). That's just a little taste and ultimately, that's what happens when you have your first game as a testbed for various ideas despite it affecting the main product, rather than being separate projects in of themselves.

And now for example? Slave management, which may or may not stay, get reworked, or add more dev time to something that neglects the other aspects of this game that years later are barely getting touched up on. Only now are we getting further refinements to serum routes that delve into characters left in the weeds after years of no touch ups, but just barely. And only now, on it's second try that is, are we getting the 2d art that they kept wanting to implement, in spite of it not really fixing the bareness that this game sometimes invites.

Such as that Ava serum route I mentioned, you think maybe, with the formula of the game inviting that much creativity in how you can, I don't know, USE your formula to corrupt people to your whimsies that maybe that is the premise of the game, or at least the core. And yet, Ava is still the only character that got that treatment. The rest of the cast by a far majority is still largely linear in going down the sub/dom paths as to what they are to serve as, with content smelling rather old and stale after all these updates in comparison. Which isn't much of a good thing considering that every new update feels like it's spreading itself further thin.

And again all of this is just happening now, who knows with them implementing 2d art whether a lot of this can even be changed anymore, on top of maybe the devs once more hopping on another new thing they want to implement more fiercely as a mechanic that again repeats the cycle of where the fuck are we going?

And that's pretty much it. That's the feeling as there is so much more I can write, but again a lot of it is what the Company used to be. With it going on it's sixth year of dev time, and with no end in sight I can rightfully say that this game is never going to be anything really. Maybe one day it's that game I remember from all those years ago, another day it's trying something new, and another it's rewriting something old that feels as though adds nothing. There's no identity anymore on the amount of bloat this keeps intaking and shedding.

That’s why it’s hard to ultimately recommend this title beyond a newcummer’s perspective. For a new player, this is a lot of bang for your (free) buck, however to actually stick to this title and support it is too then tie yourself to 6~ years of devtime that has evolved into the doughnut they keep spinning on which they've been trying to shake up ever since 2017/18. Just know you'll never see an end version nor feel as though that that favorite thing/character/element you love about the game is ever going to be worked on until (maybe) years later.

Ultimately, like the many, it should've been done years ago yet here I am still reading changelogs that give me deja vu. 3/5 maybe a 4 if it ever comes to a head.

    The Good:
    * If you’re a first-time player, there is a lot to do and discover.

    The Meh:
    * The coding style of the dev is very bizarre (to me). So, if you’re looking to exercise a little creative control over the gaming process, you might find it more difficult than usual.

    The Bad:
    * As I mentioned before, there is a lot to do and discover. But unless you’re willing to read the outdated wiki or looking up the code yourself, it will be very difficult to find any of the more advanced paths int the game.
    * The dev is really into “revamping” existing game systems, so get ready for a lot of technical updates, with varying results.

Genuinely one of the best Twine games, godspeed Westane. The choice of actors is great, their arcs are engaging, something probably all developers should strive for. Also kudos for writing a story that would genuinely interesting even without all the NSFW stuff.

I've been following this game for about 3 years now, and I think at this point it can be considered dead. That may sound harsh, but it's pretty much fallen into that trap of redoing and rehashing old content and I don't see it ever getting out of it.

Since I first played this game, I think there's maybe been 1 hour of new content added over 3 years. Instead there's been a new (and improved) relationship system, sex system, texting system, and random events system to replace the existing and reasonably functional relationship system, sex system, texting system, and random events system. What there hasn't been is new characters, new content, or any refinement over the main content of this game which used to be transformation and instead seems to be veering now to be more focused on the slave trainer minigame. There's also adding a second parallel, 2DCG artstyle to the game, replacing the existing real porn content with near identical new (and NOT improved) real porn content, and introducing different playmodes to experience the exact same content in (slightly) different order. This has all been done with the promise that once this or that system is revamped, development will blaze forward once again. That's if only Westane didn't have to deal with the bad <sex/relationship/random events/art> systems then he'd be able to churn out content so much faster. Except every time, it's a new system that getting in the way and so.

If you like masturbating to javascript, then this is a great game with active development. If you're hoping for this game to ever finish the serviceable story it had, or to keep expanding on the transformation-corruption gameplay then this game is dead.

Expect to see the game being remade into a new engine or new actors, or new mechanics every 12-18 months just to keep milking the patreon.

Great game, must play. I really love the whole ava or mom situation, just cant wait for more content to be put into the game. I also really like the sister route so far, hope it keeps going and gets more options.

This game could be used as an example of stagnation if it was not plagued with regression.
If someone told me back in 2021 that I am having the most fun with the game and its going to go downhill I would never believe it.
Game is plagued with abandoned systems despite many of them being removed over the years, my guess is the rest are left in to justify the grind and the insanely long development time this game has. Its like putting a new coat of paint over the old one every year but leaving some unpainted spots just so people can see its not barren beneath.
Do you know you could have sex(rape) with the "housemates" with only one or two doses if you were dominant enough? You know ... because you play a character that does not even blink about human traficking ... but rape is too much so it was axed?

If you want to play the game get an older version from around 2020-2021 before the reworkapolipse began.

    Update for 5.7 Art

Some of my concerns about the art and writing have been addressed, but there's a lot more to do. There's more scene art to fill in some context and build some eroticism, and I think at least a few scenes have had extra text added to them.

It's hard to know for sure, because there's still a lot of missing art, but I still think the writing is lacking and I really hope we get more descriptive scenes.

    ---

I've enjoyed this game for quite a bit over the years. The character customization is great, and the variations in routes you can take is impressive. I would normally call this a 4 star game, but I'm pushing it down to 3 because of the recent focus on the slave training system instead of developing the plot.

What drew me to this game initially was the development of my player character, the serum routes, and the intrigue of the plot and seeing how the first two items affected it. (Personal favorite is to play a sub that is out of her depth, but is barely holding it together)

The slave management system feels tacked on. If I wanted to manage slaves, I would go play something built from the ground up to be a slave management game.

I'm also concerned about the plans to update all of the art to be digital art. I think it's a great idea to move away from using real people (and all the possible issues that comes with that [Hard to enjoy the Dakota actress after reading what happened to her.]) and toward a cohesive art style, but I also worry that without the moving video clips, the writing of scenes is not going to hold up. I hope that old scenes that relied on GIFs/videos get rewritten to be a little more verbose.

Honestly the biggest thing holding this game back at this point is the real porn clips. They seem to be writing around what media content they can find, rather than whatever media being used to supplement the writing. Some odd feature removals (what happened to sissy bimbos?) And an excessive grind aspect kind of kills it. Play with cheat codes, and it's pretty good. Kinda painful without em though.

    His Bastardlyness

The Company suffers from a lack of actual design. The game plays far more like various ideas merely hammered into place in a rather pieced together fashion. A clear lack of intentional design and far more a reflection of the design being whatever was deemed a 'good idea' at the time.

The overall balance that one would expect at this point in development is non-existent. The game does not recognize time as a resource and will frequently utilize random encounters that do little more than eat away at this resource. This includes instances such as crafting chemical components randomly having one of these encounters after it. Utilizing the back feature of the game does no help as it will simply lock the player into a rather frustrating loop where they are forced to utilize time or take a penalty simply to accomplish goals. Add to that the various instances where the player will attempt to move forward only to have situations where they are constantly attempting to move forward but are hindered because of some other random event forcing the player to once again press the button to move the game forward.

The design loves those events far too much. Nor is there any streamlining of these events. Keep in mind that there are various aspects that are tied to a coin unlock system which is used for other unlockable content. The sheer amount of them and the randomization of whether the player suffers a penalty for attempting to ignore it is also annoying. While certain events do not have a penalty, others blatantly do.

As for the rest of the game, you can tell where outdated systems were not fully removed. A prime example would be the sex system found in one of the characters that is not found with any other. Why does this exist with only one character? Should it not have been removed? As for the content, itself, you can easily see blatantly dated content verses newer content. Reworks based on a lack of clear design from the beginning.

    Not recommended in the slightest.

    [ Update for version 5.5 ]
The added content is nice, but there isn't a lot of it and much of it isn't available in story mode and needs to be accessed with freeplay or cheats. At least not enough to rewrite my review as nothing fundamental to the game has been changed. Future updates will have more major changes, so I'll do a rewrite for version 6.0.

    [ Review for version 5.4 ]

TL;DR: The Company is a game that caters to many fetishes, genders, sexualities and inclinations. That is, if they also are into a story where you play as the asshole who greated a drug that turn people into sex slaves and gave it away to the unambiguously most evil company in existance (after Amazon).

The Good: Incest! And the chance to impregnate or be impregnated! You are spoilt for choice in this game. You can play as a cruel domme who surround yourself with sex starved slaves (i.e. be a loser), or as a sub who surround themselves with tops who demand you satisfy them unconditionally (i.e. be a cultured individual). You can be male, female or trans. There are multiple outcomes as well so you can mix up different playthrough

The Average: No matter what you want out of this game you still are the bad guy doing bad things for your own gain without concern for the evil done onto other people. If you are into this kind of setting you might like this, but otherwise there is no way to roleplay not evil/callous without ignoring a massive part of the game.

The Bad: The outcome of choices are not very well explained by the dialogue choices provided. I tried roleplaying as a sub and make people more assertive by 'juicing' them up with mind controlling serum, but that made my character end up becoming supper dominant because I kept being approached by cock-hungry characters that made me take the dominant role in sex without options. Also, you can't have anything bigger than an average sized dick without becoming super dominant passively in an in-game week. The author also conflate submissiveness with femininity. If you become too submissive you will start becoming less masculine and will eventually be treated as a girl (end up getting pegged and have your dick locked up). This to me is just really unimaginative on the author's part.

    Thorough Review:

    Story: Good

The story follows a chemistry graduate who developed a serum that allows mind control of the recipient but making them internalise verbal instruction while under the influence of it and retain that instruction after the drug has left their body (allowing you to program them). This is obviously used by "the company" to program sex slaves to sell on the black market, rather than the much more logical use in military and national security application or interogation (the company lacks imagination...).

The player as an employee of The Company will over time, along with his lab assistant, create increasingly powerful drugs that do other things as well which further expands the possibilities of The Company's slave trading abilities - which the player can take part in later in the game.

While all of this is going on the internal power struggle of The Compay starts seeping into view of the player character and it becomes clear that this house of cards has the potential to destroy itself from the inside unless the right (or wrong) person can wrestle control over it.

    Characters: Competent

There are many characters that I like, but not a single one I feel is deeply fleshed out. You know their name, what their naked bodies looks like, what they do for a living and what their kinks are (the latter since you can literally program these kinks into them). Because you have a lot of control over character's nature through the serums no character is written with any particular level of convictions, so they are technically not very different from each other since you can turn them into basically the same characters sexually.

    Gameplay: Competent

It's a text based game with a time system that is competently put together. It plays more like a point and click game. I wish the author would implement a key input system so the game can be easily played with one hand.

The dialogue in this game is a cut above many text-based games I've played on here, which is amazing given that I am generally not into these corruption type games. Sex scenes could be a bit longer and maybe have one extra gif so it doesn't come across that you did one thing and one thing only, no foreplay, not post-coital clean-up.

    Visuals: Good

The Company is a 'real porn' game using gifs and picture of real porn actors/actresses, a practice I am generally not in favour of since it is essentially stealing assets. The choice of actresses/actors is really good though. The game is currently undergoing an art overhaul implementing drawings (dunno if they are comissioned or AI generated), and they actually look really good. A little too cute for the extremely dark setting the game is set in, but I like it.

    Summary: Good

The Company is well worth playing! I suggest you do a quick run through of the game and don't worry too much about the outcomes just so you get an idea of what options you will have chapter to chapter. You can then do a replay and be more throrough with your decisions to get the most of your fantasies out of the game.

    Wishlist:

    > More femdom that doesn't involve sodomizing the male MC
    > More femdom that involves penetrative sex of the woman.
    > Ability to chose if you will take the submissive or dominant role in random events, such as being fucked in the morning by your step/mother, so that you don't gain dominance or submissiveness without warning.
    > Uncouple the femininity/masculinity and dick size to whether you are dominant. It's weird that I turn into a twink when I am submissive, but all the NPC women I turn dominant remain women and don't become butches. Be consistent!
    > Having a big dick does not inherently make you want to dominate people, nor does having a small dick make you want to be abused. Let people roleplay smalldicked tops and fatcocked bottoms.
    > Fix Step/mother domme to not be disgusted by MC and step/sister having sex. She is in-lore having sex with both of them, so why is she surprised by this development?
    > More random encounters when people you've given your number to will call you, and maybe even booty call you.
    > Let me change which path character are on. If the serums can program a certain behaviour into a person, it should also be able to undo that programming using the exact same method.
    > The moneymaking system needs a review. I can make diazepam and ketamine in the lab, but can't sell it? But I CAN sell mind altering serum which is supposed to be a super well kept company secret? Who am I selling this to, and why don't they want ket and benzos?

This is one of the best HTML porn games I've played. If you talk about the genre it is a must mention. Good character selection with great images and gifs for each of them. A very good replayability because of the branching, you can have very different runs depending on your choices. Also a great story with a great amount of content. Doesn't feel too grindy.

So, i only played 5-ish or so hours but so far i'm utterly confused to what to do or how to do something. It gives very little/bad information on how to accually get to progress characters that i could find in game and most of the choices either lead to deadends or my understanding of things and the creators understanding of things are VERY diffrent. I get that it probaly isn't for me as i could find very little of the tags i was hoping to find and mostly found the tags i didn't want.

    CreativeCritic2

A very good game that probably needs to complete some time soon.

The game is all about a guy who is employed by a secretive pharmaceuticals company based on the fact that he's discovered a mind-control serum. The early game-play is all about moving back and forth between working in the lab to produce 'potions' and developing your relationships with the NPCS to get them to the point where specific 'potions' will have specific effects.

This sand-boxy affair is complicated by a plot involving the internal politics of the corporation that is never all that relevant and never really comes into focus either. It just means in practice that there are times when you either need to produce specific potions to order or apply specific potions to specific people by certain times in order to advance the game.

All of this is further complicated by the fact that you occasionally get splashed by potions and these change your apparent gender. Gender is dependent upon how you act but there's also a question of which equipment you have. So if you act in a way that the game determines to be feminine, you drift from dude to fem, then to transwoman and then you can get rid of your junk. You can also be more dominant or more submissive. Different genders can yield different outcomes so there's a bit of juggling in order to keep yourself on-track.

The images are pretty well-chosen and the characters are (for the most part) pretty well-written but the game has a lot of characters and involves a lot of potion-making and so you spend a lot of time in game. Unfortunately, once you reach a level where you 'unlock' a character's behaviour-changes, you can't turn it off so what starts off as fun, sexy discovery soon becomes slightly creepy. For example, it's one thing to wake up to discover your mom is going down on you but having her forcibly go down on you every single morning gets repetitive, dull, and starts to feel a bit like rape to be honest.

The decisions you make with the characters are all irreversible too. There's a tree to each of them but the amount of grinding in-between them means that in order to see the different evolutions of the characters, you have to submit to hours of replay and hours of being forcibly sucked, fucked, fingered, and rubbed in the exact same way day after day. I admire the thought that has gone into the different evolutions of the characters but I'm generally done after a single run and that does create some FOMO and decision paralysis that undermines the sense of satisfaction.

Also weird is the fact that, late in the game, you unlock a weird basement where you can not just develop different sex slaves but also surgically alter them in really drastic ways. Aside from being a complete non-sequitur from the rest of the game's kink palate ('what if the cute transgirl at the office was into me?' is 1000 miles from ('what if I abducted someone, cut off their legs, and turned them into a mindless grunting sex-pig with wings?') this section is really poorly implemented and has nothing to do with the rest of the story.

This was a really tight, clever and well-executed game that has grown increasingly bloated and weird with the passage of time. Time to start thinking of bringing this girl into port... time's up. Time to move on to the next project.

It's like the 4th text-based game that I play, I liked it, I mean the interactions, the personalities and the way the npc act on the main character are good, the grind is a bit complex, but not difficult if you allocate your time, but has plenty of +18 content the way you get it.

    0----->5

-Drawing/3D modeling: 0 (they are images and gift, there is zero effort creating the character design, but it does not mean that this is a bad thing, he knows how to use that content at the right times..)

-Music/Background sound: 0 (I don't know how the background sound works in text-based games, I don't know if they can be set or not, but something that would have been nice to add to the scene)

-Plot: 3.5 (The argument, I feel that the beginning is a bit forced, they introduce you to the main character, you think that he is someone normal and suddenly they tell you that he is a scientist who invented x product that does x thing, out of nowhere this may seem a bit forced, of course then the game develops and begins to make some sense and you solidify the story, however if it is a bit rushed at least that's what I think)

-Map: 5 (Well designed, it indicates the places so that one can know which npc are there.)

-Animation: 4 (well, there is no animation as such, they are gif/photos/videos taken from the internet, however they are well used according to the context of the scene situation, so this is something that can be positively pointed out)

    - 18+ Scenes: 5 (there is a lot of content +18, there is nothing more to say)

-Gameplay: 4 (It lets you do several things and actions per day, it doesn't limit you and that's fine)

I think it's a good text-based game, it's not boring like others that literally are like 100 lines of text and 1 image, something that at least I don't like is that I feel that the story, the main plot, goes too slow, you arrive to a point where you've done almost all of the "sandbox" and you're stuck with no content, but that doesn't take away from the goodness of the game. As I am someone who really likes the plot and a plis of +18, I recommend this game, you can take it as a different way to watch more interactive porn.

I rated it out of 7 items, I didn't add 3D design/modeling because there's no point in rating it with that aspect

One of my favorite games, and I still consistently look forward to more content releases. Dev is communicative, interested in feedback and makes good stuff. The new artstyle releases look good, but the dedication to continuing to release with the real porn graphics is something that a lot of other games would skimp on.

I will say, this game is one of the better HTML games i had played, yet it still suffers from the pointless grind and figuring out what you need to do to progress a characters story is a pain. So for that reason, the wiki is required, which is a damn shame, if you need a wiki to navigate a game and progress, well then you failed somewhat.
When it comes to the game itself, it pretty fun with quite a bit of variation and the ability to choose between dominance and submission is great, considering both path have quite a decent amount of content in them.

[Review of Public 4.3 on 3/5/2022]

I'll start by saying that this was one of the first HTML games of its style that I played many, many updates ago. I didn't review it back then, however, because frankly I had no interest in reviewing porn games at the time. I'm honestly not sure why the urge to start doing so has hit me, but that's neither here nor there.

More importantly, what do I think about this game? It's good. In fact, it's better than a lot of games made in a similair style, and frankly, it's better by a long shot. There's little grammatical mistakes here and there -- for some reason, the apostrophe-'s' seems to keep disappearing from the phrase "someone['s] cock" -- but none of it is catastrophic or often enough to ruin the reading experience.

The embedded content, the short and soundless clips accompanying almost every scene, come from snippets of other porn you can find floating around on the internet. Each character's scenes from those other pornos are recontextualized into the game's own story, making the writing a significant contribution to enjoyment of the game's content. Helpfully, the characters are also all named after the porn actors portraying themselves, which made it very easy to locate the sources of each scene if you like the snippets more than the writing. For myself, this was rarely the case.

The gameplay is... well, I don't enjoy it. There's no actual challenge from what I can tell; it's largely just a grindfest of components, money, and chemically induced mind control and interpersonal progress with the characters. This easy but time-consuming gameplay is frustratingly common among these HTML games. I understand that this is probably the best format in which to present this game's style of writing and/or content, but I'd rather there was either a challenge of some sort or at least a reduction in the grind. It's totally possible to build atmosphere without having players mash through the same text descriptions over and over again.

So, do I recommend it? Well, again, the writing and presentation is good. My understanding is that this game is actually based on a series of erotic shorts that someone appreciated enought to base this off of, and I doubt the primary developer would have settled for subpar writing or presentation when making such an homage. So, while I'm far from calling it perfect, I'd say this is worth trying out on that fact alone.
