It does. The game is set in a world where goblins are basically a plague. They're your standard fantasy "horde" monster. Small in size, green, and in mass numbers they overwhelm villages, steal whatever supplies they can, enslave the men, and drag the women off to rape for breeding. It hasn't been a major focus as of yet, but the adopted sister of the main character escaped from a village as it was being overrun by goblins. So far the looming threat of the goblin hordes has been brought up occasionally, with one section of the game being in response to the fears of a nearby village spotting one. The MC's father also travels from village to village for various reasons and I think one of the things he's on the lookout for is the threat of goblins. Within the confines of The Corruption of the Village there has been no indication that the corruption of the village has anything to do with goblins, but goblins certainly are the unseen threat lurking just outside the events of the game so far.
I don't disagree that in certain situations a stat page works, but I don't think it works here. A simple list of how many times a character has done things is far too limited a stat page to bother with. I don't really care if Yui has flicked her bean 44 times or that Marin has sucked the world's ugliest man off three times. Now, if it was like the one found in Fujino's SAO parody I would agree with you since it has stats, fetishes, and affection meters. Conversely I've seen stat pages that are like 30 something categories long and are way too detailed. Lmao i just had this exact tought "Why is there a giant red goblin in the background" maybe its a plotwist that all antagonists are secretly goblins stacked on top of each other
Goblins have to show up sooner or later as they're a Chekhov's gun at this point. The game starts with a description of the goblin menace and how they've torn through towns and villages, a major character lost her home and family to them, there was an update about potential sightings of one that turned out to be one asshole kid being an asshole, and they get name dropped on a consistent basis. At some point they have to be relevant to the story, it wouldn't make sense for them not to be.
That said I wouldn't say they'd make a better antagonist than any of the current in game ones. We haven't been given an indication that they're intelligent enough to actually be an antagonist. Also based on how their sprites look and how the opening splash image portrays them... they're probably at least as ugly as Enlai... only green.

Any time you're following an NTR project you're better off not paying much attention to anyone who is in any way upset by, judgmental of, or dislikes the content of the game. More often than not they're trolling, doubly so when they bring up an event as traumatizing as the Eclipse.
Roughly on par with the sister and childhood friend. They're the three main women, but so far she does not have any sexual content beyond blow jobs. If your main interest is Violet you might want to wait a few more updates.
(What is it with the modding of this thread and its hatred of anything with a quote or two?)
