VN - Ren'Py - The Cure for Madness [Ch.8] [GrumpyGranny]

The story is interesting, the girls look decent. Visually is good enough, it has a decent base.
The scenes I saw in ym playthrought, and i dont know if there are more routes, were decent, at least the dinamics between lesbians. Maybe just a bit short or ending abruptly the scenes, but decent adn watchable, nto copy pasted with genric camerawork. There is something going on.

But it has 2 problems right now in Ch4:
Dark scenes struggle a bit with the grain, in my screen the 2nd groping in the train is barely watchable, and there are some renders that need to be redone cause they have a lot of white dots (I think they are called fireflies) and looks bad.
The other issue is that its kind of short right now, no much content and the story I don't think it took off.

Finished the first three chapters that were available. I like the eerie atmosphere of this game. I'm only vaguely familiar with the Lovecraftian literature and I know I missed out some references but it didn't affect too much.

It's refreshing to play with female MC without the usual clichés. To me, Alice is relatable character and having to deal with harassment from key plot figures felt like difficult balancing between the quest progress and personal boundaries. I paused the game several times to think between two choices. The groping and sexual jokes are uncomfortable to deal with (but often lead to some sort of progress) and that's where the dev has done good job, in my opinion. It keeps you on your toes and you constantly question the motives of people (I would've slapped Leon already).
MC feels like real person with believable qualities and flaws, and this I like a lot. She's headstrong, smart, but also playful and prone to make mistakes like any other person. Other characters feel authentic too, and everyone is a different person. I especially mention Carlos, who feels like interesting character.

Story and characters are both great and I applaud this game for not once making me feel like I had a moment that was totally unconvincing or poorly written. Story is a slow burn and pacing is great except sometimes I feel like jumping between two locations is bit too hasty. Some renders are excellent but overall the render quality is average. Music fits the mood and sound effects were used in appropriate spots. There were hardly any grammar or spelling errors, which I always highly value. If the dev can increase the render quality a bit and fill the often too empty scenes with more objects/characters, I'd give this 5 stars in the future. Definitely worth checking out.

I always try to support such games whever i can, always in love with train grope scenes and this game seem to have a lot of it. Also main character isnt your ordinary slut female protag so thats another bonus. Idk why dev's other game didnt continue but lets hope same doesnt happen to this one.

Edit: One suggestion for the dev tho, we'd like to see main character more in the renders, sure first person view is always great to have but still

Very early into development (Chapter 2; one blowjob and groping scene), but this is a really promising start. Interesting story, there is the potential for great sex scenes, CG and animations are good, and the MC is hot. I'm hopeful this game will become something really great!

Not the best games but also not the worse games. Actually this is the first games i rate since i know this website. I like how the vibe in these games, the sound in the background. The sexual or H-scene part where or when you used that in right and beautifully sexy. The female protagonist in here looks sexy. I'm not like those people who always prefered with big boobs and big ass. NO! I preferred her SLENDER like in here. Well, probably the admin remove this sooner or later so just hello there ADMIN[ You can remove now ]. And thanks for your care ]. ^_^
