Been gone awhile and ayumu has been doing work. Started a new save to try to give some feedback.

Also seen some requests for a full save so I'll post mine, put it in appdata/locallow.

A good method to pick starting weapon/armor would be nice. Currently the beginning feels pretty punishing, even knowing what I was doing I died the first few times going in. Once I got rolling I steamrolled the dungeon though. I actually didn't find a plate mail until I pretty much beat the game (I stole Violas). Though that was likely due to bad rng.

* Add more buildup/foreplay (e.g. hand holding, cuddling)

Hi Bobveela, thanks for playtesting/giving feedback again. I'd like to make the game both easier (earlier content) and harder (later content), but it might take a while because the next update is 90% story / h content

There's a very nice pixel artstyle going for this, truth be told. That is probably the best part.
The characters and writing I'd generally classify as pretty good as well, though I haven't seen it all, of course. I flip-flop a bit on the writing, but given the fairly short length of the game, I'm not going to be overly critical of how quickly some things go in this, or the sudden horny out of nowhere. It is an eroge, after all.

But I'd say the gameplay is the weakest part so far. Might just be me, but since I think of other RPGs, all there is in this to go for is gear.

I feel I had something more cohesive to say, but I forgot it by now.

I'd really like to see a better progression. Often time I felt like I achieved nothing during a run. One problem I had was that I didn't realize that taking a team member with me stops me from discovering other party members. Maybe I just didn't see the hint for this though. Otherwise it's pretty neat. Looking forward to more.

Will we be able to date the mom?

Edit: I may or may not have found a bug. When trying to move into another room there's an enemy behind a transparent wall resulting in me continuously trying to shoot them and being unable to move into the room. I can just unequip the rifle though so it's pretty minor.

Allies also do not treat the area you're going to shoot as a danger zone resulting in them running into it.

Overall Rifle feels like worse Shortbow, if it had a little more damage or shot first then had to load it would be more worth to use. It was incredibly powerful early game though which was nice cuz of that base damage and range.

Oh thanks for checking out the latest version on itch (in general, I'll post the latest version on f95 ~1wk after I post it on itch (I can't post patches as often on f95, so I want to make sure that f95 releases have less bugs))

Thanks for the bug reports, will look into them. Re: the first bug, for the time being you can hold the "force move" key to move instead of attacking.

Hi thanks for the feedback. I will work on it for 0.9.x. I'll probably start w/ putting more gold/loot in the dungeon. I'll probably add an enchantment shop to make it more obvious to use gold to power-up equipment. And I'll experiment w/ experience pts, skill tutors / scrolls, etc.

I think this is a problem too. I changed some events in 0.8.x to be less picky about companions, e.g.
* before, if you had companions, you couldn't have sex with Seri; now, you can (the companions go home without you)).
* before, to see the Kino/Earnest encounter, you had to be alone with Viola; now, it's ok if Miran is with you too (Kino/Earnest will acknowledge her)
* (that said Torne's and Yuu's events still require you to be alone)
My hope for the future is that having different combinations of companions will cause you to see different events (as opposed to less events), will take time though.

Yes, I have 2 HCGs, I just have to write the events.
