I'm not going to post all the info, pictures and videos, but here is the run down from the dev post. Refer to the dev's site for everything.
Mainly the Dev is creating an RPG style version of the original game.
From the Dev site,
1.) Will allow you to switch between MainQuest and AfterStory on the title screen.
MainQuest:
The story of the Stele that you are familiar with.
AfterStory:
A happy cohabitation life in the castle...?
AfterStory will start as a "Start" like an AVG "New Game" (Adventure Game/Visual Novel), progressing with Save & Load functionality.
And it's going to be a story more than 3 times the scale of MainQuest!
2.) More Character Art and additional characters added for the storyline.
- Dog Princess
- King
- Maid
- High Priest
- Knight Commander
- Enemies
3.) Kitchen/Cooking System added
4.) Bathroom Scene added
5.) Cowgirl H-scene added
6.) "The ○○○ Version" is being worked on.
Q. Can I get the "DogPrincess Unity version" as an update
to the "Old Dog Princess"?
A. No. The "DogPrincess Unity version" will be sold separately on DLsite.
Since this title is a complete remake using Unity, there is absolutely no system compatibility with the existing Flash version.
Q. What will happen to the old "Dog Princess Flash version"?
A. We are still considering this.
We might stop sales or make it free when the Unity version is released.
(Perhaps as a supporter reward?)
Q. Is there a trial version or DEMO playable with this post?
A. We will not be releasing one this time.
Because it contains too many "brand new story developments"
and "undecided elements,"
plus the translation is currently just a temporary AI placeholder.
We decided not to release anything half-baked, but to thoroughly polish it until it's ready for an official release. We are very sorry if it causes any inconveniences.
Q. When will the "DogPrincess Unity version" be finished?
A. Undecided.
At the very least, I can say that the progress of the main core is about 60% complete.
However, game balance adjustments, testing, and polishing haven't officially started yet...
Plus, the final version will need to be translated by professional translators, so it looks like it will take a while longer.
Q. Are there plans for Android or other App versions in the future?
A. We are working ourselves to the bone just developing the Unity version, so currently, there are absolutely no plans for that.
