I think it's more likely to be RPG/Monopoly in Utawarerumono style, and the first image from Unity toolset looked like... I don't know, attempt to make a side scroller platformer? Time will tell.

I fucking hate puzzle games like this because the AI knows where everything is so it's like playing against a cheater. Game needs a timer mode instead. It's like playing chess against a robot, there's no way to win because the robot is coded to know every single possible move and strategy. Please add a button to cut the shit and go straight to the part of the game everyone bought it for. Absolutely no one bought it to play matchup with a cheat ai.

Dude, there is an upgrade system to help you. If you want, just play the first two rounds to grind for upgrades. If you can’t handle that, just use cheat engine, but it will hurt the experience.

The ai will randomly select a tile if said tile has not been selected before, if a tile has been selected by either the player or the ai, the ai knows exactly where it is. thus it can remember where every symbol is.
to counter this, the player gets 2 abilities : 1 to display the revealed tile for a set amount of time, and the other to reveal the tiles around it for a set amount of time, both upgradable, once you have both abilities at about half to max, it's pathetically easy to win all rounds.
just grind it a tiny bit, once you have a couple of upgrades you are golden, until then, earn your porn.

Iirc there is dialogue in game where once you completley defeat the demon he praises the player wholeheartedly, even when you use your broken abilities after grinding and its like...

Not something that saves, but rather gives a chance. If you behave badly, then the ending will also be bad.
There it is more amusing that even the father of the princess, who is just guilty of her behavior, is on the side of the hero.

You are literally the cheater playing against the ai
We get to see tiles that aren't flipped, and we get to have it linger on our screen for longer
The only advantage the ai has is that it doesn't forget where the tiles that have already been flipped were, which is arguably something a person could also do

I'm guessing here... but hear me out...I thought ◯◯◯◯◯◯◯Y mode was referring to strategy rather than monopoly, I kinda like the monopoly idea better though. Unfortunately it looks like it'll still be a while before the Unity release, hopefully it'll be worth the wait for the new content.
The kingdom needs reassurance after the whole puppy incident, and because the King almost bankrupted the treasury advertising for heroes to save the Princess, so Princess, King and MC do a (monopoly/board) style tour of the kingdom where they do Idol shows on the squares/locations they land on, with events that unlock costumes (beach unlocks swimsuit, brothel unlocks slave outfit, tavern etc etc. if you have saved up enough money from shows)
Princess as the Idol, King as a dancer, and MC as the sleazy producer... could be hilarious.
