Since I experienced my first game of the Vitual Novels with Haildicktator more than 2 years ago, I have learned a lot. What my interests are and what not, as well as what I can expect and what not. There are 75 entries in my Ren'Py folder alone, but it's been cleaned up before.... So over 100 players have been on my computer at one time or another.
Easier to describe what my dream game is, is perhaps to describe what I do NOT like :)
1. I'm not so familiar with the technical terms yet, but graphically I divide games into 2 groups: The painted, comic-like and the very realsitic 3D representations that reach photoreality. However: the group of painted characters is not for me :) (Pure matter of taste - has nothing to do with quality).
2. the story itself must then interest me. And the young man, without coal, alone in the new city etc.. it is boring from the start. That a young guy bristles with masculinity and just lays umpteen girls.... let's say I read over it :)
3. I am willing to deal with LITTLE tools/properties etc. But - I'm 70 years old - I don't want to learn a really great super game management every time. I want a story. With sexual elements. Nothing more :)
4. am I then ready and have a game on my computer, it can be very quickly deleted again:
Dear developers, you are game authors! No need to try to buy an international book award! Please write only as much text as is really necessary for understanding. At least in the beginning, to get started. If it gets too long, first I get bored, then I switch off and then it gets deleted. :) If I want to read a nice book, I go to the library.
5. sex can be so infinitely diverse... If in a game ONLY masturbates or the male protagonist knows ONLY the "in-out game", then it quickly becomes lame and dull....
6. and then there is finally a game that excites me, with a great game idea, well crafted and the game characters breathed so much life that they almost seem human - then some developer just stops ... :(
Because it is too boring for him, because he is tired, because he has a new "baby" and therefore throws away the old one.

And then only very few games are left for me....
- where the author loves his game as much as they love him.
- where there are regular updates
- which have such an interesting game idea that you look forward to every new update.
- where they managed to create such nice game characters that you can only love them :)

And these few games I then also support financially :)
