They create their own line and the pure interest around the new one drives the game far better than any other. Look at any top game on this sight and they all are entirely unique or have something unique to them which made them so popular.

I don't usually like content that raches to please a broad base, but you see a lot of harem games which I have no interest in at all because they are usually devoid of anything like corruption or forced sex.
I think this game is fairly targeted at the corruption and trainer genre. I've seen some comics like what you mentioned. Kind of like the wild wild westjapanese comic. There are parts where women are dressed up like donkeys and used to pull carts. I've seen this in other comics and games that are really extreme on the bdsm and machoistic side. I generally don't mind that kind of thing or bestiality if it's done in a humorous way. I still don't like seeing women bruised,damaged, cut, burned, killed, etc. It's just not for me personally. Even in a fantasy context. A good example might be the adult comic safe passage. There's a rape scene in it that I kind of like, but then the women are saverly tortured and killed. It really turned me off even if it may have been somewhat realistic for the time period if took place in (roman times).
