A short while ago I left a comment remarking that the game could be good, but it had its share of bugs and the patreon tier prices were shockingly high. All told I thought they could do some good work, but they really needed to focus on the game and less on the monetization.

Since then they've added layers and layers of obfuscation to the game to make it so you can't console command things. Which means you're subject to a horrendous grind with a fair bit of content locked behind pay walls. Or you could spend money on the tiers to unlock various cheat codes and more of the scene content. The developers have been rather flippant with the player base about this and have basically said "we think it's fine, so we won't change it".

Couple that with the allegations of bot accounts padding their review scores and them continuing to make more and more layers of cheat proofing to their game, while delivering little new actual content. What content they have added is riddled with bugs or missing components entirely until someone points it out to them (so much for testing their own game).

All told this game could have been good, but the devs are money hungry and spending more time trying to force the players to pay their absurd patreon prices or subject ourselves to the buggy needless grind; rather than give us the content we're here for.

Until they make some major changes, this game isn't worth anyone's time.

Game has too many bugs to be playable. Devs have been so obsessed with obfuscating their cheats, that they forgot to code a game. Devs have also engaged in many shady tactics, i.e. fake reviews, donating to f95zone to get some negative reviews taken down, straight up stealing content from the internet for their game, etc...

I just wish I could rate this zero stars.

This game is ridiculously bad. Extremely grindy even with cheats on, and the scenes rarely ever match the context. The gameplay loop is playing the same few trash minigames until you have good stats. The progression system for characters is awful too, they're literally stat checks where you click a button three times. Sure there are good gifs and videos, but this game is sooo bad.

    positive:

    -One point for collecting/farming items
-Second Point for interesting exploring and mini games like "pac man"

    negative:
-to much time spent on food collection

-repetitive /massive point collection inflating the grind endlessly to unlock scenes.

-to much scenes seam hidden behind a paywall

-overall everything in this games becomes repetitive and grind y because of the real lack of content/functions.

    conclusion:
Game seams not even half done, rather existing content is stretched out beyond any reason.
Hopefully in 3-5 years this can be a really interesting game...until then 2 stars from me.

This is a piece of junk littered with ham-fisted implementations from mobile/gacha games that acknowledges they're wasting your time, but fully expects that they can loop in some of the addict-prone people and hopefully make some mobile-style money in the process. Only, there aren't millions of people playing this trash like on phones. With every update, they expend effort to counter cheating that bypasses their built-in paid cheat system. Additionally, play far enough, and you'll hit more paywalls for more crappy "content".

I could understand self-preservation tactics to some extent if the content was of higher quality, but this isn't it. This is a phoned in Sugarcube/TWINE game.

I like the game a lot, the game put some images here and there (theres not much like literally sexual content) but not a lot ngl, most of the time is in the combate system (and behind a paywall)

This combat is easy to understand and reward u even for losing, which idk if is good but i like.

I see two things that I really didnt like, the 1st one, is that the progres in the early game is a little bit slow, u have to get a lot of things (food, equipment, gifts, lust and materials) with not so good equipment the fights are difficult but when go pasa to the mid game the game become a little bit of clickin simulador

The 2nd one is that rn theres no much content with material, u just build things and thats all, for example u can put a garden and one of the girls can plant some food

Overall this game is good, I highly recommend it and although it is a bit grindy, I think it is worth it.

The game is pretty fun overall, but it feels like you didn’t put a lot of effort into making it, especially considering that you’re charging people for it.

From what I can see, it mostly looks like you just pulled images and GIFs from the internet and repackaged them into this so-called "game." It doesn't really feel like there was a lot of original content or creative work put into it.

That said, I have to admit, despite all that, I do enjoy it. It’s entertaining and can be pretty fun to play, even if it’s not the most polished experience.

One thing I appreciated is that the story is surprisingly long, even for players who don’t pay. However, it seems like lately, it's shifting more towards a paywall, which is a bit disappointing.

I hope in the future, you’ll reconsider how much of the game is locked behind payments.

interesting if ludicrous setup crippled by retarded levels of grinding. Paywalled content, dumbass combat mechanic and a neurotic obsession with anti-cheat features.

Theres an interesting and fun core here but the developer seems hell bent on alienating everyone and trying to charge for real porn he doesnt own.

I've been playing this game for a bit now, and I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5. The developers seem to care about their work, which is nice to see. They update regularly and fix bugs pretty quickly. There's quite a bit to do in the game - collecting equipment, unlocking achievements, playing mini-games, doing quests, and working on relationships. It keeps things interesting. The interface is clean and easy to use, which I appreciate. Being a new game, it's not perfect. It could use more adult content, and some parts feel a bit grindy, especially getting the best equipment. The relationship system takes a while to progress, but that's not necessarily bad. It's a relaxing game, good for when you want to unwind. If you enjoy adult browser games, it's worth trying out. Just keep in mind it's still developing. Overall, it's an enjoyable game with some spicy content. Not groundbreaking, but definitely worth a look if you're into this kind of thing. It has potential to get even better with time.

Here's a revised review with your points included:

*"The Fapocalypse" features a wide variety of characters, which adds some depth to the experience. However, without premium subscriptions, the game feels like the developer decided to say, "Sure, you can play for free—but on 'freaking Asian difficulty.'" The grind is relentless, and progression is painfully slow without paying. While the characters and story elements are appealing, the constant resource farming quickly becomes a chore. The difficulty feels artificially inflated to encourage spending, which can frustrate those hoping for a more balanced experience. It has potential, but the grind and difficulty curve may turn away casual players.*

Since this game is still early in it's development, it's interesting, has some potential, and isn't bug-ridden it earns 3stars from me. If this was v1.0 and was still as it is, I'd probably only give it 1.5-2stars.

edit: forgot my only real complaint: DO NOT HARDCODE INCEST. This is a dealbreaker for me, and is worthy of 0star rating. Even if the relations you set at the beginning of the game worked, the game is still riddled with bro, sis, mom, cousin, mother, etc. Because of the way scenes are broken up between the html and js files even Find&ReplaceAll is greatly annoying. Either make editing the relations work, or just don't pretend incest is optional.

To make this a 4-5star game, I think it needs the following:
    • Replace Wheel minigame
      • Minigames either need to be fun enough to be a gameplay mechanic in a non-porn game, or add the the immersive experience of the porn.
    • Improve the porn scenes
      • Need to be longer, and have some consistency. I also do not like the animated ones from the forest area. Getting CGI after realporn is disappointing.
    • Do we really have to backtrack through the areas to return to the shelter?
      • just little quality of life stuff,
    • Make the rpg elements like gear matter.
    • REDUCE THE GRIND
      • 80virus? That's 100% artificial grind to get people to buy cheats. You will never have 80virus unless you purposefully go out to acquire it, and it's not fun to do so.
      • Lust/Trust going into the 2000s? Even if you use the rarest gifts, it takes so many.
      • If the game is fun, I don't use cheats, so using grind as mechanic to drive sales has the exact opposite effect on me.
    • Don't fall to feature creep and extending the story until the game is fleshed out.
      • Don't allow people to waste resources on things that aren't available yet.
      • Progress development in a more linear fashion.
        • Avoid breaking saves
        • Making players start over to see new content, etc.

Solid game. I like the survival grind mixed with the harem type. I also like to how the storlyline make more and more sens through the versions. I guess there is always place for improvements and about that I have a suggestion :

Maybe add slaves or something could great. They could help fight or protect the distrcit.

This game is somewhat entertaining and has a bit of an interesting gameplay loop, as well as good scenes and innovative mechanics. That being said, though, I find it hard to recommend it considering the awkward UI, the insane amounts of farming required to get the game going, the somewhat awkward system mechanics, and the general feel this game has of being insanely padded for playtime.

I might have considered giving this game 3 stars, but I personally find the addition of anti-cheat functions in porn games to be an annoying, and honestly mind boggling concept. The only rationale I can see in it is that the absurd grind is present as a means of frustrating players so much that they support the dev monetarily, and use the built in cheat system. This, to me, makes me want to rate the game even lower due to the anti-player nature inherent in the game's very design. This monetization scheme, at least to me, just kills interest in the game rather than making me want to support the dev. Some may not agree with me on this, however, so to each their own.

TLDR it's a solid game with an absolute absurd amount of grind and a needless anti-cheat system. It could potentially even be a 4 star in my book, if it wasn't for the dev's own practices.

Tl;dr: This game really could be one of the best HTML real porn games on here, but the game is actively anti-consumer at the expense of the player unless you buy cheats.

I used to be probably the biggest dick rider of Fapocalypse. Early on in the project it was quite buggy but had it's own charm to it, with promising gameplay loops. The game's greatest strength, it's presentation, is pretty obvious to see. I assumed that it would just need some sanding around it's rough edges and then it'd shine.

As time went on, progress was slow but that's not totally unexpected. I defended the game with it's buggy minigames or middling grind that blocked what little content there was. The devs did insist that the grind was not there to deter players from progressing and to sell cheats. This newest update spits in the face of every reader who believed that.

Compared to launch the game has improved somewhat, yet the grind is far worse. The biggest issue is the dev's complete animousity to those who know how to use Twine basics to edit information, thereby bypassing the grind.

I remember several patches back that there was a gamebreaking bug in one of the character's questlines. Using basic console usage I was able to bypass this broken section and continue with playing/testing the game.

What if I encounter a similar issue now? When I try to adjust necessary variables, I get called poor and shown a sus Jerma ascii art. While clever, it shows how the devs would rather monetize their very early access product rather than gather adequate feedback from players.

There is still a lot of "potential" in this project, which really isn't saying much as nearly every HTML game here with somewhat legible English gets graced with that feedback. As it stands now, I'm not ever touching this game again to see what's new with development. If every time they update the game I have to learn some new programming exploit to bypass their anti-cheat (and there always will be a bypass, considering the engine they're using) or decide to face the monotonous grind they arbitrarily set before us, then I'm skipping out on the whole thing.

I hope the devs can find it in themselves to go lenient on the anti-cheat and focus on improving their unfinished product, but I don't have much expectations left.

The way the dev wants to monitize this game rivals that of EA and Activision.

It dangles "extra content" in front of you to somehow force you into "FOMO".

My man(dev), you have a good premise and we can see you put in work but you clearly changed your prorities after you finished the prologue.

    The positives:
The premise ("believable" pandemic + end of society + base building + resource gathering) is good
The sounds (lots of games forget to add music and sounds to their games, when I heard the fallout theme I was really hooked for a second, made me feel shit)
The conversations (have enough maturity and believeability so you can immerse yourself)

    The mid:
The visuals of the girls are nicely picked out but there is a lack of variety, it would be nice to add some redheads, asians etc...
The combat and mini games require more balancing and it would be great to have some impact on the "speed" of certain games perhaps via items, say the wheel spinns slower or the size of positives or negatives changed based on what you wear or maybe have a skill system implemented for stuff like that.
Info, the icons help to guide you quite well around the world however tooltips are lacking, such as in the inventory.
    Equipment system needs expanding.

    The bad:
Monitization, there are so many things wrong with this, from locking off a huge amount of content and then parading it in front of you, to locking out features such as cheats, huge nope, stick to a patreon support model or if you really want to milk ppl do early alpha build access for members.
The grind is artificially inflated to make the game seem longer, please find a way to reward the player for doing the same mini games over and over, have buildings give you boosts on resource gathering and so on.
Using existing content to make a game, I personally love live content(live porn in the game etc) however if youre not the artist/creator of all of it and you just "edit" it all together like a story teller and base it on gameplay you add, that hugely reduces the amount of praise(and money) ppl will (be willing to) give you.

Im sure Ive missed some points but all in all, as it is now, its only a 2/5, the time invested is not worth the reward, if the game issues (excluding monitization and locked content) would be fixed it would go up to a 2.5/5 and if everything would be fixed it could be a 4 mabye even a 4.5/10.

I wish the dev luck and success in his endevor as Im sure that like any creator he wants to see his creation thrive.

The game could be great, but the grinding makes no sense (and taking into account that I enjoy grinding in games), I have 3000 of dominance, I destroy everything that moves, but I can't continue advancing because I need 100 of trust with some characters to keep going. So I have to fight again and again, praying for the enemies to drop the specific item for those characters from the 100 items that will be there, or go to sleep in their beds and that they raise me 1 point after a dialogue in an endless cycle.

Not to mention that I've been playing for like 5 hours and I haven't seen a boob from the main girls.

It's a pity, because the UI and sound are exquisite and the story is not bad at all, but it's inconsistent, I'm being told a story of the typical sexual virus, with a serious tone and I'm believing it. But 6 months go by and there are completely destroyed cities, alien technology, space portals... nonsense, and that's not to mention that when the MC wakes up 6 months later, he tells the family: -Wait a second. Two hours later he comes back and tells them, come here I have made a mansion, indeed, the guy is an engineer-architect-builder who moves at the speed of light and has made a mansion that Bill Gates would love.

It's as if the game was made by 2 or 3 people, one is a crack, designing the UI, the music, the intro... and the other doesn't know what he's doing.

I immediately was unable to use this game in its shipped format. I simply cannot read the text as provided.

Once I changed the text colors to make it readable, then I get lost in the various minigames.

First of all, I hate having to play a minigame to advance the game. Second, the games are not well designed or documented. As an example, for the scavenger game, I seem to have a small maze, but the arrow keys are not very responsive to my presses often triggering long after I press them. Additionally, there does not seem to be a stop button, so if I press up, I keep going up. I tried space, escape, backspace and several other keys but nothing works for me.

At present, the graphics are good, the concept is fairly good, but the execution sucks.

I will have to give this game a failure on grade and pass on playing it.

Good game. Here what I think

    good :
    apocalyptical story good prologue
fight are very cool looking and hot
    great choice for characters
    scenes looks good and immersive
lots of features like items, fun minigames

    bad :
content took some time but they add some

I really don't understand the 3 stars rating. It's insanely severe

Quickest/Slowest way to kill a boner is to play this game. For whatever reason, this game eats a lot of browser memory. There are still no scenes with the family which confuses me, because this should be the first thing that gets flushed out, and yet, this isn't the case. You will either spend a ridiculous amount of time building up what amounts to pointless stats and receive nothing for it for the five main women in the game. I am confused as to how this game is still alive and hasn't been discontinued for other, more worthwhile, efforts.

Honestly, I felt that this game was better in the old version but they deserve 4 stars just for being so active and responsive to the bug reports and such.

Nevertheless, I would muuuuuch prefer having way more enemies with random gifs associated to each one, as it really turns you off when you see the same enemy and same set of gifs for the 100th time when grinding.

HOWEVER, I understand they are focusing on getting all the pieces in play first with game modes and such. I just hope they plan to add more enemies (I'm talking like 100 at least - it shouldn't be hard given the infinite amount of porn out there). Would really make the game feel more interesting.
