I just saw this, they took my rating among many others and now I can't rate it again. Truly rich that they had the nerve to cry to the mods about a boycott against them after they faked reviews to boost their ratings.PS: A few hours ago, there were 65 reviews with an average rating of 1.9. Now, it has dropped to 44 reviews, and the score has increased. It seems like someone is trying to save the ship from sinking, lol.

I truly think it's amazing that someone would look at EA's tactics and say:
"Hey.
That's a pretty fucking good business model."
Seriouly, you know what would have been an amazing use of that money? Hiring a fucking competent developer to refactor and fix the worst parts of their code or getting another member into the team who's only responsility is to test and report bugs. Or even better, and this doesn't cost any money, have an open conversation with the community they aparently care so much about in regards to the whole situation and coming clear with the fake reviews and alleged bribes (Which I'll say again, if that's a bribe I completely endorse f95 taking it.)
But what do I know, right? In the end, I'm only a lowly engineer who in about 4 hours of bickering and tomfoolery has managed to break their shitty security, reported their scum boosts to their rating and has made this cunts spend their whole revenue for the month.
All in all, I'm satisfied now and pretty happy to leave the drama behind. It's no fun beating up a dead horse (Neither it is to beat a living one, but they are not a horse).
Disclaimer: I won't leave the drama behind, I'll keep giving you guys the broken games with unlocked shit until they remove the obfuscation and let you guys use SugarCube.

Simple reason, Buggy mess with porn content that developer didn't create...Will people get mad at me if I say I actually quite like the game? I personally like the grind even though, mostly the food grind, is a bit much even for me. Still a lot of work has been put into the game and I guess the developer can ask however much he feels is fair. Higher price = less people buying the tier anyway, so I do feel a reduction in price wouldn't even be bad for the dev since he'll probably sell more this way to compensate.

I understand your frustration on that point.For me its more about the trend as well, the foundation of the game was once solid, you had your gear progress,
then a update wiped out all gear...which I have never seen in any other game before...
Me personally I enjoyed the game because there is a sense of progression and next the Dev. simply says: fuck it I clear all inventory slots. And its repeat from ZERO.
And this inflation and reset to ZERO we see in many forms during the game patches and updates.
The "corruption/love etc." Points are inflated again and again, the patches only seam to focus on introducing new advertisement for the paying costumers, I liked the game once as well, but the Item wipe was the last straw for me.
There has to be some sort of respect for the time people put into it. Otherwise the game simply feels like a big time of waste.
Anyways since this won`t be reverted, I say thank you as long it was fun, but its time to move on^^

What I feel is the Difference between a Good Grindy Game and a Bad Grindy Game is two things:
-First, what is the Reward you are processing towards, in Relation to the Time it took you to work for it.
-Second, is the Grind there to make some kind of a Point, and Part of an Experience *or* has it been inflated and designed with the specific intent to offer a Way around it by Paying Money?
In the Case of this Game, if you simply divided the numbers by two (meaning halving the amount of Grind and Time required), nothing would be lost. the Game wouldn't be worse or lose anything. The only Thing it would lose is a lot of the Incentive to pay for Grind-Reduction.
And that is what I so thoroughly dislike about this Game. What I have seen from it, Game-play-wise, Graphics-wise, even Story-wise, isn't that bad, pretty decent, even. I would award it something between 3 and 4 Stars, probably.
But none of these Things seem to be the Point of the Developers, of why they made this. If the Devs really, genuinely liked their Project, and their Community for that matter, they'd listen to them, change the Grind-Numbers (or add a Slider to the Game so People like you can enjoy the grind), which is consistently the first and loudest Criticism that is coming up. There would then be a happy community, some or many of whom would like to support the Developer of a decent Game with a reasonable Price. For some Reason or another, they have done the Math and concluded that this is the better Way to go. and better in their Eyes apparently only means "more Profitable".
Whether that Math checks out in the Long Run - that's the Question that makes me follow this Thread. ^^
TL: DR: I have never seen a Game on this Side that was so clearly about the Money, and so little about the Game. And The Grind is a Means to that End of earning Money. Which still doesn't make you Carbinerzz a bad Person for enjoying it, obviously![]()

So that would be 1900 after cuts then around 1500 after taxes which is about 375 bucks per capita. And let's give them some credit, just for once, even though they don't test anything they are very active on socials and throw releases and Bugfixes life free candy.
I doubt 400 hundred bucks cover half the hours they put into it at minimum salary.
That's not what I would call a life changing success. Or almost even a success, if you consider the damage to your own public persona and future developments.
Surely, they are incurring in extremely scummy practices, but they are pretty dedicated to it and are putting hours with little pay or no pay. This would be extremely commendable if they hadn't fitted the end user experience to promote monetisation in an early alpha.

And I will take the blame for it, this is my very first game and I lost control of it (not future proof) and didn't like it anymore.
So I initiated a massive rework which worked in the sens that now the game is planned until the end and all the mechanics will stay the same and no more wipe.
But yeah, I am sorry for that, won't happen again.
