I played this a long time ago. Didn't it use to have a store you could go to? Like a mall???
yes, but it was removed a few updates ago to make it more in line with the post-apocalyptic setting. For the moment the main way to buy things is wandering the market and praying that RNGesus throws you a bone. I really hope the next update addresses this.

Yeah, it's a case of it makes sense, but makes it a pain. I always felt like there should be an option to look for a specific type of seller, but it takes longer and might fail. So if you want cloths it might take 1.5 as long, with a 70% success rate. So you should find a cloths seller within a couple of tries (though what they have to sell is a different matter).

This is a really good fix to the annoyance of the market. And there's already something like that, where you can just go to the stall you work at or the stall of the clothing girls from school, so it logically makes sense.

Why does feel like in the past year no progress was made on the game
Um, I'd say you're wrong, but if that's how you feel that's how you feel.

Part of it may be because they only release a public version after enough progress is made (which was only 1 official public release, and we've gotten 2-3 patreon versions leaked during that time), but there's been a hell of a lot of changes to the game over the last year.

So version 2.4 was released a little over a year ago, and 3.0 was the next public release, so the changelog in the first post covers the changes 3.0 made. In the non-publicly released content you've got beach content, roommates, landlord, integrating the roommates into existing content, at least one job related to the landlord, more clothes.

It bothers me that the exhibitionist trait makes it so you can't refuse/resist sex on the bus. Feels like there should be a middle ground where the heroine enjoys showing off, but doesn't go completely 'free use'. Especially since there's a lot of conditions under which you aren't allowed to accept offers of consensual sex or prostitution, but you aren't allowed to refuse a bus pervert. Even if you're a virgin, which makes it impossible to play a virgin exhibitionist without heavy save-scumming. And since bus sex always leads to a vaginal creampie, avoiding pregnancy is very difficult/expensive even if you're fine with constantly fucking strangers every time you want to change locations.

Also it seems silly for an exhibitionist to be able to wear a shirt without a bra, but not be allowed to wear a bra without a shirt. It's the same number of layers, but with more skin exposed!

With market/buying clothes, I want all non quest items to be available to buy from their respective vendor. The market is meant to just be a place where prices will be much more random so can pick up good deals if you put the time in. It's just right now I don't have all the vendors in yet so some items are only available in the market.

It bothers me that the exhibitionist trait makes it so you can't refuse/resist sex on the bus.
This was a bug I only discovered a couple of days ago. It was meant to always give you the option to accept or refuse, but instead it pushed to auto accept. It's since been fixed.

It's cool how the dev has removed content instead of adding over the year. Very nice work. Makes sense they wouldn't have a mall during the post apocalypse but would have working bus routes, bars, apartments, parks and recreation, and beaches. But oh no, can't remove those, spent too much development time on those instead of figuring out what you want to do with the game.

If you haven't followed along, mall shopping is being reworked with named npcs as vendors. Plus, lots of new content that keeps coming if you can't read the changelog.

By far one of the best games of its type that I have played. It's like Degrees of Lewdity but with good art. What really grips me is there is an actual story here, one that feels crafted with care. There is a lot of post-pandemic social commentary that you might miss if you're just in it for the sex scenes. That's how I went into it initially, but I found myself actually reading the dialogue instead of pressing Skip the whole time and sometimes even forgetting that I was playing a porn game altogether. We need more games like this.

I only have a few minor criticism. For one, the bar maid job feels a little repetitive. There is a nice variety of CGs, but so far as I have played, it seems to go almost nowhere. I'd like to see some more story progression there, and more varied events that can occur while you are working at the pub.

Secondly, some images are missing, particularly in shop menus. This makes those menus extremely difficult to navigate. On the subject of the UI, I'd also like to mention that the controls feel a little wonky at times. For example, navigating the wardrobe can be a chore. I get confused with the story Back button and the Back button for inventory windows. Oftentimes I will accidentally click the wrong button, sending me back a little ways in the story. And have the Back function on the scroll wheel by default has also tripped me up a few times.

Lastly, while I love the body customization aspects of this game, I can't help but wish there was just a little more. Something more on the extreme end of sizes and appearances, like true bimbofication sizes for the posterior, breasts, lips, etc. Personality changes along those same lines would also be welcome. BMO TV is a perfect example of what I was initially searching for when I found this game. I also wouldn't say no to a few raunchier scenes and more extreme fetishes being included as well. From what I can tell so far (I have not beaten the game yet), none of this is actually present. As far as porn games go, it's relatively tame. That's not a bad thing, necessarily, but part of me always wants at least a few scenes that truly make you feel like your character has gone off the deep end.

Either way, this is an excellent game so far, and I really hope it continues to receive updates. It's been a really long time since a porn game has actually captured my attention so completely.

"It's like Degrees of Lewdity but with good art", "the bar maid job feels a little repetitive", "I wish there was [more body customization]"

All of these are interconnected: the more customizations you have, the longer it takes to pre-generate each possible art variation for each scene. It's why the player character is constantly taking off her clothes even when it doesn't make sense for her to do so (don't have to show/include clothed variations!), why certain jobs (such as the barmaid) are deliberately limited in the personalization options available to you, and it's why the author said animated scenes will not ever happen: it would be absolute insanity trying to pre-generate animated scenes for each possible customization option, and every new personlization you want to add makes the possibility of new scenes increasingly burdensome to make.

Now I personally love the art and presentation of Degrees of Lewdity, but it is certainly much more limited, and that makes adding new graphics much easier - especially if you only concern with the primary character avatar, as opposed to the combat graphics which are apparently due for being replaced at some point in the future anyways. If that's all Sam_Tail had to worry about as well, it would surely make things exponentially easier...but no, we need each scene to have every possible haircut (though I think the hair colors are probably freely palettable on the fly?), the different chest sizes, pregnancy progression, piercings(?), marker text, pubic hair*...and every possible permutation thereof. What an absolute nightmare to work through every time you want to add just one scene or new customization. Don't envy the mod author having to deal with all that.

*As someone who thinks women without pubic hair is usually weird at best, I'm very glad that there is a pubic hair option in this game...but when I first started playing this, I did wonder why it was just the single variation, until I realized the obvious about the art issue.

As far as I know, most of the colouring is indeed done at runtime. The reason why you have a body that has changeable skin and hair colour is to not have to deal with customisation in story missions like Heaven. A preset body because it allows for more intricate scenes. One of the other strengths of this game is how much layering and segmentation there is making it easier and a lot less resource intensive. The game itself is 100ish mb renpy needs more space than the game's asset files.

Release when?

I ended up adding in quite a lot of new events and features, and once happy with it, moving onto other new things. All of this needs to be brought up to a complete state and bug tested which I am doing now. But it is quite a lot and Robin has an obscene amount of naughty content to fully write. I am aiming towards the end of July, but that is a hope and not a promise.
Is it possible to add an option so girls in the game doesnt take birth control pills? (would be nice to see most of the girls pregnant for those who likes that genre...)

Would be nice if there are different ways, too. I.e. the bullies in Cass' case, or the Landlord in case of Robin/you if you don't pay the bills. Then all you need to do as the player, is make sure Robin is out of money... Or have some interjection with Sam who is willing to give Robin money for the condition of...

Loads of ways to go about this.
