Maybe double check your code? It might be a small coding error that's actually making it 1/6 on fertile days, for example. 'Off by one' coding errors tend to slip in everywhere.On fertile days is it a flat 1 in 5 chance. That doesn't seem too low to me. Normal days it is 1 in 20 and safe days it is 1 in 100.
Either way, it sounds like a lot of people are asking for an even more fertile Sammy. Perhaps 1/50 safe -> 1/10 normal -> 1/3 dangerous chances?
Like I said earlier, you could add an in-game item (with a moderate cost) that has increase in fertility effect?
