It seems to be a compatibility bug with older versions. I can suggest you to upload your save files here, we'll fix them and send them back to you

For now, it's only in the Patreon version. Wait for the next updates

Hello friends, many of you have been asking for this and we are happy to announce that the game is now available in Spanish! Many thanks for this to our loyal subscriber Darconium;

And also for your convenience we have launched a web version of the game, now you can enjoy the prologue directly in your browser, on your computer or phone;

At the same time we are pleased to introduce a feature that should help you a lot when you switch from web to desktop or from mobile to desktop - import saves! Now you can download them at any time and import them into the game, even on mobile! Let’s be honest, we are very proud of this feature;

Also:

Fixed a number of bugs that you pointed out to us;
Slightly toned down the enemies in the toad caves;
Fixed issues with not quite correct English translations;
Fixed moments where the translation was going off the screen;
